I love the little tank minigame at the beginning of every round
it is air rb with player controlled tanks at the end of the day
It is very very mini and silly according to my standards, I don't feel I'm playing tanks unless I get maps like Sands of Tunisia, and they are extremely rare. If I get Eastern Europe or Cargo Port I just rush cap zone with my Abrams like if it was a BT-7 to get in the sky - or fail to do so - and leave the "Fortnite" scenario on the ground as fast as possible, it is unbearable, it is disgusting and it is what made me focus CAS mainly since 2018 when I saw Kuban and Frozen Pass in top tier ground battles for the first time, it was literally the downfall of tanks experience in War Thunder ground realistic battles.
Im an air main, the only reason i got into ground was because of freinds so getting to spend 5 minutes in a tank and 15 in a plane is perfect
@@Hunter_i86 Honestly i feel like top tier air rb is the same story. Its a massive furball of aircraft usually, with little to no actual objectives on the map, other than killing the whole enemy team. There are always like 10 missiles in the air in one spot... And there is almost nothing to do for attackers since the ground targets are always in the middle, where the furball of aircraft is. Sim is quite enjoyable through, i wish they brought back enduring confrontation mode in realistic battles setting, but with no aircraft spotting, or much reduced spotting.
@@Hunter_i86 Gaijin could learn a lot from these comments but they are too busy counting their dollars from selling 70 dollar digital vehicles.

I find it strange usa heli’s are just now getting the good Zuni rockets, how come nothing else carries them in game for USA? Imagine actually getting those to grind out the other heli’s, it would’ve helped so much

TOW missile, to show it in the video, I think first chopper with TOW and ATGM sight that can lock, also it can be helpful against vehicles with laser warning systems, like BMP-2M, PUMA, 2s38, Type 90 ... etc, because TOW can be launched and guided with laser OFF.

My favorite helicopter and for much of the video with a loadout much like my favorite loadout! I like to use Mighty Mouse pods (which should be Hydra pods), having the TOW rack and Hellfire rack in the same places, but that's mostly for larping. Against tanks I like running the loadout you have there. 😄

Why did you loft your tow 2bs? Does it help with speed or stability?
To avoid hitting the near ground I'm hull-down behind, mainly. And also might make it harder for the enemy tank to machine gun my missile.

That's why TOW is not very useless I guess, it can be useful against Type 90s, PUMA, BMP-2M and 2S38 because it can be launched and guided with laser OFF.

It is more because of the virtual instructor in RB mode, in sim the physics are better.

Hunter or anybody who wishes to give there opinion, I would like to know how good or viable is the Mi-35 Hind at top tier I know the Mi-28 and Ka-52 are fantastic but I really like and enjoy the Hind its my favorite Heli but I would like someones imput on this.
Mi 35 is probaboy pretty good. The thermals are a huge advantage.
Not so bad at top tier, Ataka becomes less responsive after 4km though (Unlike Vikhr), so you need to pick the right target.

Why does this guy keep shooting tow’s out to the side and then bring it back to the target? Doesn’t make sense

Would've been really cool if the AH-1W got Mavericks, only 2 I think, but it would give the US some taste of FnF on helis. They wouldn't be particularly strong either. Range is only max ~4.5km from sealevel, which is probably a testament to how draggy the mav is in game (from a launch envelope chart it should do 11km from a heli standstill), but that's what it does in game from
Maverick G is wonderful, I even got double kill with one missile, T-72B3 direct hit and Pantsir S1 destroyed at 20 meters away because of the splash!
In the coming days will upload videos about Maverick G, F-16C and Harrier GR.7.
Did U.S helicopters carry Maverick G?
@@Hunter_i86 The only picture that I can find of it ever is an AH-1W firing off a Maverick in white paint, denoting most likely either 65A or B variant. The envelope chart also only mentions the shaped charge warhead for helicopter, whereas for aicraft it denotes both blast frag and shaped charge.
So probably not. Only 65A/B, which would indeed mean fairly poor damage.

As a soon to be a M3A3 user, why was hunter shooting the tow to the high right side instead of straight to the target?
to make it harder for the enemy to machine gun it a little bit, and also it is cool to do so LoL.
Also note that the TOW-2B is the only TOW variant that is that responsive, essentially being unaffected by the MCLOS/SACLOS ATGM handling rework that happened back then. You try that with any other TOW missile and it'll fail. The BILL shares the same handling characteristics.
