Germans were so high advanced they had radar altimeters in their bf109s

This is well known amongst 109s and 190s and is often referred to as the "German Airbrake", and is usually much more effective than jet airbrakes themselves, but it's not really advised to use this since it bleeds so much energy that you can't quickly build up to where it's not worth it.
The effect is only a lot more pronounced on German fighters, and while it is also somewhat noticeable on other propeller fighters as well (P-51s, Yaks, Spitfires, etc.) you're much better off pitching up and/or using flaps to bleed speed.

The B-17 can hold back an agressive dive. Now go have fun

This good with bf109s its stops like it hit a wall, but keep in mind not to turn enigne to max when is 100% propeler,it will just overheat the enigne and u you will lose it

What does prop feathering do? Does it do this exact same thing but automatically?

prop feathering is only used to let ur plane glide longer without any engine power

Feathering basically means to change the AOA of your prop to 0 so that theres much less drag.
