i’ve never heard of red card rules changing for friendlies so why would they change now just play football and get on with it
I mean if I'm honest, a) its a friendly b) you're using it to get ready for the season ahead. Why would you opt to play a 11 vs 10 or 11 vs 9. You tell the ref to allow it, to get a competitive game. Was still entertaining but to each their own.
On the flip side Baiteze know how to play 11v11 they do it every week, playing 10v11 in a friendly where it doesn’t matter win or lose it’s good to get that experience of being a man down against a strong side

Someone talking themselves into a red card is the stupidest way to get it. I don't know the rules for Sunday League, but it should mean they miss a few matches. Since this was a friendly it might not matter. Also, the other manager threathening to call off the game was an empty threat, because if they had gone through with it, it would have counted as a forfeit and a loss for them.

😂 I like UTR but I gotta say you guys bitched out on this one. Baiteze are a phenomenal team, taking the L against them with humility and integrity would be nothing to be ashamed of. Getting away with a near draw with a pretty sub par ref and shying away from an opportunity to keep it friendly and fair must have taken the shine off it a little for you.

Sorry Manny, totally not agree with you, in many professional friendly's they let players back on, a bit lame tbf
