Yup,we can see with the micro lenses what you are describing to us,and i personally prefer it if you do you make up like this cause we see all the textures that these products create on your face.I have the exact same skin type as you and oh boy i struggle with powders a lot and this specific one created textures that your skin didn't have! I think that because the CC foundation is oil based and the powder isn't,this is why it created this texture.But i can't imagine what it would do with a water based foundation.Up close it looks super dry and cakey. I use baby powder as a setting powder and oh boy it looks really nice and makes my base look SMOOTH!You should try that(use the proderm one specifically cause it doesn't flash back). The powder has hyaluronic acid so it absorbs the water of the skin, so it depends on what's underneath (did I write that okay?), A good way to make the skin look great with that powder is being light handed and use a hydrating spray or mist right after setting the makeup🤗

Yess setting spray is my saviour haha, literally whenever ny base is looking bad i just use a bit of setting spray and it all melts together like magic
I used to use setting powder but never again! It does not make any difference with the makeup lasting longer, but the texture of it mixed with everything else clashes and it caused more creasing. It’s good for photos but not anything else. A lot of PMU are against setting powder too Also, I just picked up this palette tonight and came across your review. I too do not have any deep greens like this. Tons of palettes but they never include deep greens so I am glad I found them with this palette
Nooo Steph you should’ve got the hydra matte powder is sooo good!! I have dry skin and it’s amazing, doesn’t make me crease around smile lines, under eyes etc. Xx

Gotta agree on steph with the base I got the CC foundation and well its oily looking and urgh I had to clean it off and stick to my kiko bb cream the powder for me works well just like any standard revolution base powder tbh didnt get the concealer I've a bag full lol never purchased the eyeshadow to expensive for four shades lipstick I've more than superdrug right now so not purchased still you look absolutely gorgeous steph no matter what makeup you use loves ya 💙❤💙❤💙❤💙❤

Would you do a spf foundation on tinted spf review or comparison? Im constantly trying out various coloured options for the face in spf30 or 50 but the shades and textures are much more limiting some colours are totally different to packaging, some break your skin out badly, some smell BAD and some just leave you soo oily and it would be good to see you views for the summer. Thanks x

If you're ever feeling dry, shove a setting spray on and press it into the skin, I find it melts the makeup down and makes it less flaky x

Steph, Is a CC cream a foundation or a tinted Moisturiser? Please. I bought a IT cosmetics CC Cream and not sure what it is to be honest.
A CC cream is usually a tinted moisturiser unless stated otherwise (such as the revolution one says it's a foundation) at least from my experience xx
