They only drive them for the motor just like I told my buddy yesterday that I’d buy a clean 2nd gen just for the motor not because I actually like the truck because I don’t
Nooice! I’m a 7.3 guy too! I got an 03 Excursion from original owner and will not part with it. But fun fact they never made a 98 PSD that was the change over year.
That's not even remotely true at all the powerstroke came out in 94 and ran until 2003 1998/99 was the transition year from the obs to the nbs that they ran until 2016 but you could definitely buy the powerjoke from 94 until 2003 unless you got lucky with the 94 factory turbo idi the last real 7.3. I personally have a hard on for the idi as I daily a 93 non turbo pulls my crappy 30 foot camper at a wopping 40 mph up hill however it does it without complaint or ever breaking. The worst thing that went wrong with it since I bought it for $700 4 years ago was a bad alternator had to have her towed because I wasn't watching the volt gauge when I shot her off tow truck guys head almost exploded when I tried explaining to him that 12.4 volts will not come anywhere near close enough to cranking her over as you need extra hot batteries for an idi.
Ford literally snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. Like they had good diesel engines in their tractors especially after they put all that money into the Genesis project. They just keep doubling down on their failure
Everyone always says “I’m a Cummins guy” but no one says “I’m a Dodge guy” 😂
Because we like Cummins, if the dodge don’t have a Cummins in it we don’t want it
@@ColeCourtney-kl9ovexactly, the only Dodge I would even start to consider is the Cummins PU especially a manual

I'm a Dodge guy.
Dodge couldn't build a diesel
The 7.3L has such distinct sound. It just sounds and says happy diesel 😊

I’m a die hard Cummins guy myself but I keep finding myself trying to buy a 7.3 over a 5.9

Love that it still has the obs bumper sag😂
That's some lift kit in that truck.
That thing is SASSY! But those wheels destroy the look of the truck
I had a 1991 5 speed manual idi 7.3. It was a real dog but loved driving that old slug
Cant hate a old school truck
I want to buy it now !!!
Dam right. If Fords had Cummins everybody would have one 😂😂

I have the exact same truck single cab same paint scheme and all 😢I miss driving the ole girl
I would like to see it going off road vs a similar stock truck
My buddy had the 90s extended cab black with Grey 7.3 Manuel had nice wheels and tires. . it was super clean!

My ex-wife had a OBS body before the plastic surgery 😂. Truck nice too lol ✌️

Think he’d trade me my clapped F-150 XLT triton for it? 😀
Probably!
Thats the 7.3 with no turbo? Right???
No that’s a powerstroke
Bruh the idi came turbo in 93 and 94.5 then 7.3 PSD
Bro if you know anything about the 7.3 you would know that the early models didn't have a turbo on them!!!
Which by the was was stupid because they were absolute slugs!!!
It’s got a turbo being already a power stroke
Original paint , lol 😅😅😅
Low profile tires destroyed the looks of that truck its not a car
I hate the rims and tires
