How do you dismount for this one
I was so proud of getting brain twister I showed it to co-workers and they asked me if I could walk the dog. I said “this yoyo cost me $16 and I’m not rolling it on the floor.”

If I had to choose what hits the concrete, between my yoyos or my balisongs. I would build a cannon to blow my yoyo into the concrete rather than drop my balisongs.

When you are doing the dismount for the trick it is IMPERATIVE that you have the yoyo as front as possible. If it is close to your body you will hurt yourself in the wrong places

You guys should make some tutorials for more advanced binds. If you do that than people who are becoming intermediate can spice up there tricks and also I need some tips for the outer flair bind.

Great video! I've been practicing this trick for awhile, and I can do it with the simple mount, but the dismount is usually what gets me. It seems like the yoyo doesn't have enough momentum swinging off the dismount to snap back to my hand. Any advice?

im trim new to yoyo this is my 2nd day and i can do tricks like rock the baby, around the corner and man on the trapeeze (I land it 45 percent of the time) but whenever i try to lift the yoyo to do the fast front moount the yoyo winds up and if i do land the nmount it stops spinning and half the yoyo is wound. I dont know if its my yoyo or ust me making a mistake. please hely thanks :))

That usually means you are getting some slack in the string as you do the trick.

Do you dismount off the string like we show in the video, or do you just drop all the strings while the yoyo is still on the string?

In that case I would recommend you dismount the yoyo off the strings first. That should stop this problem from happening.
Okay so I’ve mastered the mount but how do you do the summersault and get the the yo-yo back into your hand.

There are different styles of yoyoing, and you do need yoyos for the different styles. There are also some tricks that can only be done with certain yoyos, but in general most tricks can be done with any of the yoyos we sell. When the Velocity is in Pro Mode it is not supposed to come back without a bind. If you want it to return by just pulling it up, you need to dial in the dials a little.
My yoyo string got stuck trying to attempt this, and I had to open my yoyo multiple times, please tell me how to get my string out of my yoyo easily

I've found that basics are pretty much always something people should practice. The better your basics are, the easier it should be to get more advanced tricks down. At least that's the case with the guitar, and I imagine it's the same with the yoyo.
Petter Eriksson yeah but these tricks are like....basic! It's the most simpelist mount and then spin it round your fingers lol, I'll be honest though, I have not mastered the whole ladder, not evem close, instead I try to make my own tricks and mounts, but vote always turns out as a double or nothing or kamikaze mount lol
I'm no master at the yoyo either, having only been doing it for two weeks lol. Truth be told, I'm taking a lot of experience from learning martial arts and playing the guitar. In martial arts (at least the one I've been doing, Bujinkan) a black belt is proof that you know the basics of all the techniques you'll need to learn the advanced stuff and in my 10 years of playing guitar, I've noticed that the fundamental basics are responsible for a majority of how good you'll be at the advanced stuff. People doing 8 finger tapping, sweep picking, playing fast, it's all down to accuracy, timing and practicing your basics. Sort of like building a house, if your foundation isn't rocksolid, you're going to have a very bad time.
True that, I'm also a fellow musician :D but I produce on computer with a keyboard :) but trust me, when you get the basics down in yoyo you get it down! It becomes second nature like most things you practice a lot at. I can hit a trapeze with my eyes closed, it's all in the technique, I could probabaly hit a double or nothing with my eyes closed but I can't say I've ever tried lol
Awesome :D Been trying to get some keyboard action going, but goddamn it's hard. Trapeze are going decently well for me, never tried double or nothing, or one and a half mount though. Truth be told, I'm kinda using the ladder as a bit of a gateway to see what tricks to learn next.
Sometimes when I practice I regret life decisions but know that patience is key so I just stay calm.

Is the sage need to be lube with thick lube to be responsive ? I use thin lube on the default bearing and It's now pretty unresponsive, I think.

Any is fine as long you dont have a yoyo that isn't thin gap.
A yoyo wide shape with ball bearing and must have wider gap between so it doens't shoot back to your hand responsive.

I just started and have a fizz. But whenever I try the forward mount it comes up and hits my hand. Do I need a new yo-yo like the one or am I just doing it wrong? Also my fizz doesn't sleep for very long, is this normal?
How long is it sleeping? Also, the Fizz is designed so that you can loosen the gap a little bit which will allow it to play better on the string and sleep a little longer. Try that and see how it goes.
It can sleep for about 15 second max and when I loosen it, it goes for about 20. Should I buy some lube or just get a sage or one? PS thanks for replying and helping

I was learning barrel rolls with the mount and did it easy but forgot brain twister in the progress.

It is a responsive yoyo. The are designed to come back when you pull them up.
whats a sleeper?
When I mount my Yo-Yo and pull the other string up and get ready to do the trick, it creates like, friction and slows my spin down very quickly. Is this my Yo-Yo or my throw?

Most likely the yoyo is a little crooked on the string which causes the spin to die. We talk about how to solve that in this video.
So... Do you have any tips for people with... A large belly? I can't line up my hands without the yoyo Hitting me.
My guess is that a little more practice will solve it, but if not I would just use the method where you lift up the string to get the yoyo into the mount.

Comes stock with a size C half spec bearing.
After i do one flip, the yoyo turns around and messes up the spin. What can i do to fix this?

If your spin is dying it is either because you are not getting the yoyo spinning fast enough, or you are not doing your brain-twisters in line with the groove of the yoyo.

When I get into the front mount my yoyo immediately dies. Does this work with a yomega xodus II?
It should work. Most likely the string is touching the sides of the yoyo, which is what kills the spin.

The short string would actually make it easier to land the fast way, so it sounds like you just need to pull your hand up straighter. What kind of yoyo are you using?

nictheperson when you play the yoyo it is natural to get string tension and if i say playing the yoo as in every single throw you do string tension will get worse so at least every 5 attempt/throws you fix the string tension
