It can't be better than I remember if I keep rewatching it on a monthly basis. I've never been into reaction videos, nor someone who rewatches shows at all, as a matter of fact, but I'm addicted to seeing this show through the eyes of unexpecting viewers.
Not just my favorite show, it’s probably my favorite story. Before, my favorite story was the Stormlight Archive, with the first book i picked up back in 2012 or so. But in the past year i think AoT surpassed this story for me. I visited Japan for the first time from the States last month, and just by coincidence and sheer luck the Last Attack movie came out during the time of my trip to Japan. So the most precious memory of that trip was of me, sitting next to a girl who went by herself (I know she was by herself because i bought my tickets before her and made sure to leave one seat between me and a group of four) and we are crying hard during a certain character’s death. For me to share this pain and moment with some complete stranger, from a totally different culture and from across the world from me, was just so special. It was a connection i never dreamed of. My friend who lived in Tokyo and watched the movie with me, didn’t know anything about it, wondered why everyone was crying in that theatre. It was a Wednesday night and it was PACKED. Packed full of crying patrons. Unforgettable. Thanks for this video.
Since making my big 80min video on it I have been able to convince so many beginners to pick it up. All think its one of the best things ever written. Still so beautiful. Thank you for commenting.
There’s is literally only a couple of shows that I enjoy near as much as AOT (Vinland, ATLA, Frieren, arcane) but none come close to AoT plot structure. It seems every show just has their hands tied behind their back. Not a single one has even tried to rival it. It’s madness.
AOT is my all time favorite piece of anime/manga even after seeing dozens of anime, and read tons of manga and even light novels that fact still hasn’t changed. It has everything I love in a great story with so much detail and love packed into every aspect of it. Every second is important, every piece of dialogue matters, watching it for the first time is a transcendent experience and then watching it again is an equally great experience because you get to notice all the subtle and even not so subtle foreshadowing throughout its entire run, which just gives you even more appreciation for Isayama as a writer. Great video! I’d honestly be interested in seeing how you’d rank every anime you’ve seen/manga you’ve read.
If I had a larger audience that cared I would love to be able to do just a long breakdown of each anime ive seen or manga ive read. 2 and a half years of doing this now. It's a decent list.
Hi man! If you haven’t watched orb: on the movements of the earth, I highly recommend it, feels like a show you could make a great video about! Thanks for the content, as always!
I havent watched it yet but I have had friends ask me to watch it as well!!! It looks really really cool and I will try and watch it asap. Just finished my BIG binge of Jojo which I had never seen before. If I do watch it and make a video Ill make sure to highlight this comment. And thank you! for watching. Comments like these remind me of why I do this in the first place.
I hope so too. I really really enjoy the stuff we are putting out and I don't really wanna have to change things up to be more view/engagement focused instead of just talking about stuff my subs and I love to watch.
@@DareToEntertainon the topic of what the subs love to watch, where is that vinland saga s2 video? Have rewatched your first video too many times at this point.
Ahhhhhhh Vinland saga season 2 video is the biggest video that’ll be on the channel in terms of scope. We’ve had the script done for year. 2025 I promise it’s gonna be out.
AoT hooked me from the very first episode. Which is ironic because I only watched it because a friend forced me to give it a shot (I never liked anime, I was certain that it would be some goofy children's show, and I was certain I would not like AoT). But by episode 5, I was utterly hooked. And in the end, AoT did not only become my favorite show of all time. Every single aspect that I can think of about AoT is a 10/10 for me. AoT made me start loving anime as a whole. And thanks to AoT, anime has basically been the only thing I have watched ever since. AoT, and AoT alone gets all the credit for getting me into anime
AOT was one of my first ever anime that i didnt watch on TV so i really get a lot of nostalgia from it, i dont think its a masterpiece when it ended it was good but i was dissapointed because i had too big of expectations and even now i still am somewhat dissapointed of aot BUT that doesnt change the fact that it was a very good ending and anime in general and probably the best shonen i seen so far
Ive got 26 and had seen plenty of shows, movies, games, stories, pieces of fiction, you name it. Never in a lifetime I would have tought that an anime would be the best story ive ever watched unfold and became my absolute favourite. I cant express in words how much I love this masterpiece. Hell, I even love it so much I got Eren's key tattooed on one of my wrists. We will never experience such a deep, complex and goated story like this and if we do we'll be extremely lucky. Thanks Isayama, from the bottom of my heart.
I went from dissing anime to loving it with all my heart because of AoT. It changed my life, its insane to see so many share the same type of love for a series.
Started watching it because I slept on it back when it came out , it definitely holds its weight it’s now my favorite show by far even compared to newer shows
Same! I didn't bother to watch it in my 6th-grade remote anime club. The anime club is what introduced me to my first anime, Naruto. But I started watching AOT last month and finished on my birthday(I cried😭😭😭). And it's my favorite anime of all time. Started with Naruto, and ended with Attack on Titan. 🕊️x🧣

@franky8080 thanks bro I’ll check those out. My thing with the ending is that I didn’t feel the need for it to be excellent? After the way Game of Thrones ended I lowered my expectations and was content with just having been along for the ride.

This is STILL my favourite show.
I am so happy you have seen this. Out of everything I begged for, choosing this just makes me so joyous. Such a goated show.
Forever
Bro really said people have not glaze AOT in a while, let's change that.
The limit on glazing for AOT will never be reached.

From premise to themes, tones, and even plot structure in some ways there is really NOTHING else like AoT

subjectively the best anime

Why not
In Asia it's all on RUclips for free licensed by muse Asia RUclips channel

Do you know how good season 2 was? Short and highly impactful only for it not to be nowhere near peak. AOT is too good.
nice
2nd favourite show for me , best anime probably, but BojackHorseman still is my Favourite show ever
I still need to finish that.
Lol no. Endings are everything for dramatic narrative. AoT is unrecommendable in light of the intentionally bad writing at the climax.
no its not

ending ruined it for me, however I'd still recommend watching it because of the first few seasons. Similar to GoT
Personally I think it is extremely overrated. The first seasons are good, but I don't find it a masterpiece
Don’t agree but fair opinion! Which series would you say eclipses AoT?
Bro s 4 is the best it has the best plot twist in anime history
