39:59 Something to note about the Discount Potion: The definition of "purchasable item" is _much broader_ than you might assume. For example, it includes some things that you don't spend _coins_ on. Capeesh?
Local pop-summoner succumbs to temptation of pyromancy, becomes flaming buzzsaw. More at 11. Edit: I am curious to see what arcane nova dragon breath would look like. Can't wait to see what silly spells you make for this run next video.
if you liked the ring of fire, might i suggest a hammer build hammers have a relatively high base damage and no mana cost, Overloads are great, as are Multi Shots the flame core lights them on fire if you miss the flames of doom
That was chaotic and pyrotechnic. I have some observations, based on my limited experience and watching you: I know the text at the bottom is easy to miss-why is it formatted like flavor text-but it it's definitely worth paying attention to, because it's where some of the most spell defining effects live and, more importantly, it sometimes changes on level up. For example, that's where it shows the Evil Slayer Sword breaking and then reflecting enemy missiles and the whisps gaining the ability to self replicate. On a related note, if you have the Essence of Soul equipped, it will tell you what its effect is in the grey text of the summon spell. You might want to consider taking the reroll relic on the first floor specifically, because that floor is short enough, and it expects you to have so little, that the second run through is extremely quick and the extra boost in power can make the second floor a lot quicker too. The one caveat is the time it might take you to reorient and reorganize your spells. Outside of that scenario, I'd agree that it takes too much time and is a general pain to deal with. Finally, on one of the recent videos you mentioned the shortcuts not actually shortening floors. I don't know if that was the case on a previous patch, but they definitely count for extra rooms on this patch and you can check that by looking at the rooms remaining display at the top of the first page of the pause menu. With that said, I still think they're worth taking and they're probably my favorite shortcut implementation in the roguelikes I've played, because they don't feel like they're penalizing you. Far from it, they have some pretty nice benefits.
I am sure you figured this out, but spell effects apply to summons. So critical before the pop spell makes the pops shoot straighter and crit. Also Hammer gives you speed, but I am pretty sure you need to hold it in your active wand, so when you have extra space it is just nice to add it to your main wand. I wonder if reaper mask works with summons. I would guess probably not but no idea. Similarly do summons or the thanos snap work with prospectors gloves? If I had to guess, again probably not. I will have to pay attention to see if any monsters are dropping coins.
25:55 That's those stone like creatures. They are really mean. They invert knockback and apply it BOTH to themselves and to player. So if you have a spell with powerful knockback, you'll yeet yourself into them
I recommend using the hexagon box thing on the top right of the starting NPC area. It's a resource trader, so you can trade in other stuff for chaotic cores so you can unlock more spells Asap.
I don't mind fire, you don't see it that often. The floating rock guys in the Castle pull you to them when you hit them, that's what's yeeting you around. Part 2 is gonna be interesting
Small optomization. you should turn off shortcuts for the last area in this vid (the one with the looping borders) so that you do more rooms and have a higher chance to encounter the pit friend who you feed spells to. You can encounter him multiple times in a run if you're lucky, my record is 3 times. The spells he gives are very strong, most of them don't take a slot (they give +1 slots) and modify your spells in a useful or interesting way.
@EpsilonRosePersonal we saw a hammer on hit effect in the past, it's a constant spell that can hit things. The Prisms are free summons with projectiles/feelers/legs and they use the same sort of rules as the spider and Pops and Don't count as chaining spells. Last time they made lightning activate on hit. Resonance runes don't trigger because the spell is constant, but on hit effects like serial did work.

Second time Lee try do a summon build and end up with something completly different that isn't summons.
*shhhhh* Just wait till tomorrow ;)
@UltraC lol
"So, today we are doing a summon build." 20 minutes late: "FIRESTORM!!!!!!!!!"

I still love that "to be continued" editing at the end of these XD

[Lee does nova+tentacle combo]
This is going to be good.

Domain expansion: dragons breath
you're heading to...tentacle town. once you pop you can't stop

charge flamer so powerful, it launched your cursor to the other screen.
this is what you get for playing with fire.
The echo spell didn't seem to anything with the passive orbital, but I am pretty sure it works with passive hammers!
Never want to stand in yellow puddles.
1:09:46 I heard Roundabout and expected you to somehow get instakilled, not a legitimate part two lol

This week's build brought to you by Cornelius.
If you wanted to get the troll summon taking the Avada Kadavra and rerolling it later would have been a solid way to do it
quality content as always
You should do a cluster bomb build.
Spell of choice into fireworks, 2 splits into water bubble.
I love me some summon stuff!
Magicraft!
Wonder when we will try a hammer, on hit trigger Spell build. i see the ingredients but they are breaking the set as i type this....
Does that work? The prisms didn't seem to trigger it.

giant troll is an epic spell, so you couldve rerolled the adava keravda to get it
I am saying something!
