- The Autodesk Fusion 360 manufacturing update for November 2022 is now available and we are excited to share it with you. This Fusion 360 release brings a whole host of new features and previews that focus on process automation, to help increase your manufacturing throughput and improve your time to market.
Such is the impact of the new features in development for this release, we actually start with previews of some of the new toolpath strategies designed to help automate your part programming, including 3 new strategies using the ModuleWorks engine, as well as a first look at collision detection in machine simulation. On top of that, we also have updates to the HP additive printing app, and the release of the optimized open pockets option for steep and shallow for improved surface finish.

Plunge milling would make my day.
Dear God please this
i only wish, there was a non-cloud-based version of Fusion 360
Being able to upload solid model tool holders without a custom script would be fantastic!
You have absolutely no idea how happy I am for the debur toolpath. No more endlessly fighting with the scallop toolpath to get it to debur parts.
deburr!! thank you thank you thank you for this add
We are glad you like it
Great update to F36 😃👍
These additions are great, cant wait to try them.
So cool!
Absolutely love Fusion. Would love to see an unlock axis type option for the 3d adaptive toolpath to allow 4/5 axis simultaneous roughing and collision avoidance.
Good job !
Awesome! Looking forward to running the deburr feature using our 65,000 RPM Air Turbine Spindle!
Excellent point. An airturbine spindle is the perfect match for this toolpath!
💯✌️
2D pocket could really do with the moduleworks treatment, being able to select from different cut patterns would be good.
That particular request doesn't require moduleworks. We have some options there
04:05 Is this machine available for download?
will you add nc-code machine simulation some day?
I can't commit to features. However, I can ask rhetoricalquestions "Did we acquire CAMPlete?"
need robotic welding
Any chance these toolpaths flow down to HSMWorks?
Hahhahhahhahah.... No. The purchase of hsmworks was to drive CAM users to fusion
REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE PORT ROTARY TO INVENTOR ALREADY REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Is fusion 360 free for hobby use ?
Most of the features mentioned in this video are not free.
Do Inventor CAM Ultimate 2023 users get anything cool too? Why does Fusion 360 get machine simulation and Inventor CAM does not? Isn't Inventor PROFESSIONAL-GRADE? 😔
why use inventor cam when you have access to fusion? fusion is a 1000 times better for CAM.
Unpopular opinion: simultaneous 5 axis is just overcomplicated deburring.
Please focus on fixing bugs and making the user experience less terrible, rather than piling on new features constantly
Fusion 360 is so buggy omg but please keep adding micro transactions even though I'm "grandfathered in" to the old pricing model........
I hear your concern. The What's New videos highlight new features, not bug fixes. With that said, we're always working to refine and improve the details of the product. If you've got specific bugs please reach out on our Fusion 360 manufacturing forum.
@@PM.al.whatmough If that's the case why does fusion still think our mouse pointers are a 1/16" away from where they are at all times? BASIC functionality. Reported and yet nothing has changed.
@@Te4mUp Thank you, that is a good specific example to look at.
@@PM.al.whatmough You don't think it was a good idea to look at this at least 4 years ago? You're going to pretend this is the first time you're aware of this and no one at Autodesk has noticed they can't select shit their mouse pointer is directly over?
