I used SuperNatural for a year. Unfortunately, it got to the point I dreaded it - REALLY hated it. I had prepaid the year but was still skipping it daily. When the year ran out I cancelled.
Based on Move, I get as much workout from Thrill Of The Fight is actually more than SN was. I also added Iron Man, Gladius which are equally hard and toss in Vader Immortal (2 or 3) which is pretty close.
I have lost about 11 lbs (5 Kilos) but I cannot directly trace it to my workouts as I have been messing with certain Diabetes (2) drugs.
I am now going to buy some Kiwi weighted controller attachments to make those workouts more useful while not losing the fun.

That’s weird that your FitXR coaches didn’t speak the entire way through. I hear them throughout the workout.
My experience with each of these:
Supernatural: I get a good workout, BUT I hate the high locations. Even with the large platform option enabled, the 360 turning makes me feel like I’m going to fall. I can’t get the power in my punches like I do in FitXR because of this. The music is great, but not worth the higher subscription cost.
FitXR: I love it. I even like repeating the same workouts because I like seeing how much I have progressed over time (i.e. my max power, average power and accuracy). I wish the boxing or combat workouts would introduce more new moves. The knee strikes and squats in Les Mills give such a better workout.
Les Mills: LOVE IT! As stated above, I like the extra moves. They get you in a squat and have you hold it, while throwing punches, for what seems like forever. The sky punches and battle rope slams are great. The knee strikes activate my core. The coaches are awesome (though I too would love less repetition from them). It would be nice to have better music. I love how FitXR and Supernatural let you pick the genre of music you workout to. Overall though, this is my favorite boxing/fighting type game. (FitXR is my overall favorite because I can switch between HIIT, Sculpt, Combat or Box.)

Just les mills out of the three from the video then. I started with beat saber. Pistol whip is a favorite of mine. It will get you moving when you put it on harder difficulties. Same with until you fall. I haven't been playing many fitness focused games lately. Ragnarock has been one I play consistently these days, and again, the harder difficulties will get me breaking a good sweat. I'm going to give battle talent a try, it looks like it could be like until you fall

    • @BerserkerBuckaroo
      @BerserkerBuckaroo  2 года назад

I believe they are all equal in effectiveness. the games help put me in a calorie deficit, so naturally they help me drop weight. I haven't done the HIIT or Dance workouts in FitXR so I don't know if those utilize knees to get core activation. also, I think Supernatural has since added knee strikes to their design

For those who don’t know what grass is, Grass is a type of plant with narrow leaves growing from the base. Their appearance as a common plant was in the mid-Cretaceous period. There are 12,000 species now.[3]
A common kind of grass is used to cover the ground in places such as lawns and parks. Grass is usually the color green. That is because they are wind-pollinated rather than insect-pollinated, so they do not have to attract insects. Green is the best colour for photosynthesis.
Grasslands such as savannah and prairie where grasses are dominant cover 40.5% of the land area of the Earth, except Greenland and Antarctica.[4]
Grasses are monocotyledon herbaceous plants. They include the "grass" of the family Poaceae, which are called grass by ordinary people. This family is also called the Gramineae, and includes some of the sedges (Cyperaceae) and the rushes (Juncaceae).[5] These three families are not very closely related, though all of them belong to clades in the order Poales. They are similar adaptations to a similar life-style.
With about 780 genera and about 12,000 species,[3] the Poaceae is the fifth-largest plant family. Only the Asteraceae, Orchidaceae, Fabaceae and Rubiaceae have more species.[6]
The true grasses include cereals, bamboo and the grasses of lawns (turf) and grassland. Uses for graminoids include food (as grain, shoots or rhizomes), drink (beer, whisky), pasture for livestock, thatch, paper, fuel, clothing, insulation, construction, sports turf, basket weaving and many others.
Many grasses are short, but some grasses can grow tall, such as bamboo. Plants from the grass family can grow in many places and make grasslands, including areas which are very arid or cold. There are several other plants that look similar to grass and are referred to as such, but are not members of the grass family. These plants include rushes, reeds, papyrus and water chestnut. Seagrass is a monocot in the order Alismatales.
Grasses are an important food for many animals, such as deer, buffalo, cattle, mice, grasshoppers, caterpillars and many other grazers. Unlike other plants, grasses grow from the bottom, so when animals eat grass they usually do not destroy the part that grows.[7] This is a part of why the plants are successful. Without grass, soil may wash away into rivers (erosion).
    Evolution of grass
Grasses include some of the most versatile plant life-forms. They became widespread toward the end of the Cretaceous. Fossilized dinosaur dung (coprolites) have been found containing grass phytoliths (silica stones inside grass leaves).[8] Grasses have adapted to conditions in lush rain forests, dry deserts, cold mountains and even intertidal habitats, and are now the most widespread plant type. Grass is a valuable source of food and energy for many animals.[9]
    Grass and people
Lawn grass is often planted on sports fields and in the area around a building. Sometimes chemicals and water is used to help lawns to grow.
People have used grasses for a long time. People eat parts of grasses. Corn, wheat, barley, oats, rice and millet are cereals, common grains whose seeds are used for food and to make alcohol such as beer.
Sugar comes from sugar cane, which is also a plant in the grass family. People have grown grasses as food for farm animals for about 4,000 years. People use bamboo to build houses, fences, furniture and other things. Grass plants can also be used as fuel, to cover rooves, and to weave baskets

This is the second Supernatural review I've watched where the reviewer has really poor form in boxing and flow. Start in low intensity, listen to the coaches and get your form solid before you move to higher intensity levels. It's like watching someone bench press by moving the bar three inches up and down with their back arched.

We need better controllers. Your boxing form I can see is a bit off because of the controllers. If I pick this up, I don't want to learn poor boxing form and turn that into muscle memory when going into an (unlikely to happen but possible) fight. I want good form, good muscle memory and the ability to throw a RL punch effectively.

The lack of originality in VR fitness is pathetic. I can't wait until them come up with actually fun games that get you in shape at the same time. Can't stand another "hey let's punch random stupid objects for hardly any reason" game.
