  • First run with my long awaited DYMotorShop "New Zonda" in rough water. It might not look to bad from where we were standing, but the waves on the middle of the lake was too much for full on speed runs for sure. I have learned my lesson with doing speed runs in anything but small ripples - not worth it.
    Note that this is not a TFL Zonda nor the Animal Cat, even though it might be basically the same platform as the ladder one :P lol - This is the DYMOTORSHOP New Zonda - Full Carbon Fibre Hull and Hardware.
    Can be bought like shown ARTR including the following options which i put in mine too:
    Seaking 180A ESC
    SSS Motor 4074 2200kv
    Lets see if we can make some good numbers with this boat, this year.

    Awesome run! my brother has an animal/dy boat. Ran 90mph on stock giecos that were balanced and sharpened, 101mph on 1817s.

      @@EmilWilkensRC Or hire a friend to steer your boats or pilot a drone👍The isometric photos of the boats in motion are really great. Or a video of following the boat🙂

      I hope the drone can be setup to follow the boats for some good broll. But yes, you are right

    Nice Boat. I have the same TFL equivalent (Carbon Fibre Hull and same motors), but I have far less room for batteries and access to motor coupling and shafts, much prefer your layout.😁

      Thank you sir!
      Actually the TFL zonda is much easier to get batteries in and out of. I might change the battery tray in this one at some point.
      It seams to be a great boat, cant wait to run it some more this season

      Not so sure about that. I can’t fit my 6s 6200mah without great difficulty so I opted to leave then poking out of the side at 45 deg angle. Much easier to use 2x3s either side. I would have attached a photo but seems I can’t .

      @@paulleiper8469 i cant get my 6200’s out without damaging them basically

      @@EmilWilkensRC Really, looks like you have far more room than I do. From above looks like you can see at least 3/4 of the battery, mine looks just under 1/2. Is your issue with the length of the battery or the width? Mine is mainly the width.

    Dear Emil, is the Animal Cat any different than a Zonda? Will CNHL 6S 5000mAh 70C G+ packs fit in the Animal Cat?

    • @EmilWilkensRC
      @EmilWilkensRC  2 года назад

      Very hard to make them go in due to the battery bracket configuration. Not a lot of room.
