Hi Darren, that was epic adventure, the scenery was absolutely break taking. Really enjoyed all 7 parts . well done, glad you managed to complete the trek. Btw… did the meerkat try to sell you some insurance 🫣👌👍👍👍 .
Thank you, Darren. I am 82 now and the TMB is one of my wonderful walks that I have failed to tackle and I regret it. So, it was great to follow your super coverage of the trek through that wonderful countryside. I am only sorry you didn't have the sunshine on the last day. But that's the mountains for you. Great achievement and very entertaining..
I really enjoyed watching your journey. Thanks so much for documenting it and sharing. Great, great job capturing the trail. I especially enjoyed your map of the day at the end of your vidoes. Very helpful. New subscriber here! 👏
Smashed it daz👏👏🤜 it did look sketchy at times those ladders didn't look the safest 🤣 well done though m8 look forward to seeing what you get up to next atb daz
Nice work Darren! I'm hoping to do this hike next summer, 2024, and this has been a great peek into what I can expect. You really lucked out with the most gorgeous weather. Thanks for letting us follow along!
Great video series. Brings back memories. I had rain through the last two days of my tmb and skipped the flegere ladders because of that. You made a wise decision not going 1500 meters down in the rain.
Hey Darren, I'm doing the TMB in July 2024. I really enjoyed your walk through series on this hike. Super useful as I'm planning on camping the route and trying my luck at refugios on the way round, with a few places booked in advance. Thanks again! 😊👍
Yes! We will be doing this trek in a July 2024 also. Appreciate all your great suggestions of places to stay. Any recommendations for this part? There are 4 of us
Well, that was quite a trip. Thanks for taking us along. Don't feel bad about taking the cable car down; you climbed all those dang ladders in the rain, you deserved the ride!
Thank you so much for all your effort you put into this series! It's really helpful to see all these spots, and your commentary is always informative, realistic and never vain. Now I'm even more pumped for my tour in Sept 24. Thanks again.
Thank you Darren. That did not look like fun, I'm glad you completed the circuit. Well done. you are a better man than me .Think I will stick to English routes.
Superb set of videos Darren. So so helpful to folk like me. Followed your CWT set, I completed that in May. Next on list is TMB. Any chance of a gear review, please? Thanks again Neil
Well done completing the CWT! Tbh the gear I took is largely the same as my Coast 2 Coast gear vid. The Tent I took (trekkertent stealth 1) i will be doing a video on shortly. If you have any particular gear questions just pop me a message 👍
Well done Darren, I plan to walk the TMB next year so it was very useful to watch your journey especially as I plan to camp too. It would be useful to know what kit you took with you and how you got there from the UK.
Great series! I’m starting on July 22nd this summer and it’s good to know that refugees have beds in case I don’ t want to set up camp. I was wondering what kind of hoody’s you wore on the trail (long sleeves) in the blazing sun? I saw they ware from Rab. Please let me know
Yeah I got lucky with refugio's maybe due to late cancellations? The Hoody is the Rab Pulse which has been renamed Rab Force. It's a brilliant bit of gear
Well done but I was getting the fear of you going up those ladders 😂
Heights & rain scare the life out of me. Each to their own!

Nice, that's the best way to do it. The refugio's are nice to stay in but expensive. Plenty of places to wildcamp once high up & out of sight

Another great series Darren 👏🏻

Well done Darren, I plan to walk the TMB next year so it was very useful to watch your journey especially as I plan to camp too. It would be useful to know what kit you took with you and how you got there from the UK.
Hi, are you going this year? Most my gear can be found on my channel, give used the same setup for a couple of years now
Looked a great adventure. I'd be interested to know about the logistics of this trip and what kit you had...
The kit was the same that can be found in my West Highland way / Coast to coast kit list videos

What a fantastic series of videos! The scenery was fabulous. Congratulations on finishing the tour! How were your knees on the downhills?
Trekking poles were essential
Hi Darren, Thanks for making the video, what solar panel did you use and would you recommend it
Lixada 10w portable solar panel. I found it worked well to charge my gopro. It doesn't work well charging a phone though
