I’m sure it would tick like a mofo. I read that they rolled over 45,000 tons of uranium and thorium here for the production of reactors and weapons during the early stages of the Cold War.
I think it’s been abandoned since at least the 1980s, possibly the 70s. I found some interior pics online and was able to geolocate it. It’s 18 minutes from my driveway lol
I think this is a place we can rip ONCE lol. I guarantee nobody else ever has flown it. I like flying bandos that nobody else ever has. I don’t really care about doing tricks and stuff. I’m in it for the antics 😂
Yeah unfortunately I gotta wait until spring or I’ll leave tracks to exactly where I’m ripping from and that might not be a great idea lmao. This bando isn’t a big deal but the factory next to it makes specialized titanium alloys for things that have to be made in the US. Their security may not like me there. Thanks for the sub 🔥
It’s been around 0-5 C the past few days. The climate here is similar to Poland/Northern Italy maybe. Somewhere in the middle lol. It’s gonna be spring before I fly this one. I don’t think I want to leave tracks in the snow. It’s not in the hood where there’s more problems than there are cops 😂
I’ll probably wear an n95 mask inside this one because of the dust and stay outside the building as much as possible. I had some training in the marines on radiological decontamination and this place doesn’t worry me. 2,500 people worked there every day for decades. A few hours isn’t risky especially if you’re not breathing particulates in.
Hey bro happy New Year! Yeah I’m good just fixing broken shit lol and moving everything over to crossfire. I got one armed and the motors spinning tonight 🔥🔥🔥
👍💪✌
Put a geiger counter on the drone next time you fly over the place!

Looks like it's been abandoned for 20 or more years, looking at the size of those trees.
This is gonna be a fun one to rip. I’m waiting until spring though because I don’t want to leave tracks in the snow leading right to me lmao

Is it very cold where you are? Do not touch the ground and keep the windows closed. 😂 Very nice spot... I'm curious when you can fly there.
