I think y'all need to remember Rick is a cop. The apocalypse didn't change that. He's not just going to leave people behind if he thinks there's a chance to bring them to their side, but he will kill someone if push comes to shove and threatens his group. You need people in order to survive this world, and Rick is just trying to prevent as much unnecessary killing as possible. Yeah, he could have left the boy, but so could have Glenn when he saw Rick in the tank. Rick was as good as dead if it wasn't for Glenn, who put himself in danger. And he didn't even know if RIck was a good person or not. Andrea is also the most useless member of the group. Lori has her issues, but she was right about Andrea not pulling her weight. And her leaving Maggie's sister was not her place. To be honest, I wish Dale had just let her die in that lab because she's so annoying. She was a much better character in the comics.
We understand Rick's motivation for saving him. But we also understand the guy's question. Why save me if you're just gonna drag me off somewhere and leave me to die? That's not how Glenn treated him. Is he angry with the guy, or is he just roughing him up to appease Shane? 🤷🏾♂️ Agreed about Andrea. Loved the exchange between her and Lori. They were both right. 🤣
@@AtypicalReactions Rick also didn't try to kill Glenn, though, but it's the motivation for Rick trying to spare him and not just leaving him for dead in that kind of situation. They also went back for Merle, who wasn't such a good guy either. Leaving him on the roof would have just been cruel. And The guy also doesn't want to die, and Shane is all for killing him, so it's a pretty stupid question when you think about it lol
@_LexiMae I don't think that's the same. They went back for Merle because of Daryl. Not because it was the right thing to do. It makes sense to kill him quickly, leave him for dead, or save him. If someone saved me, nursed me back to health, kept me bound, and gagged just to drop me off somewhere to figure it out on my own, I'd probably ask a couple of stupid questions too. 🤣
@@AtypicalReactions But they didn't have to go back. They could have just left Merle where he was. But they left him initially because they accidently dropped the key and walkers were coming. And they did save him. They bound and gagged him to figure out what they were going to do about him. I think people are so sure they would immediately kill someone in that situation, but it makes perfect sense why they would think it through first especially since he's so young. They aren't animals. He's lucky that Rick wants to drop him off and give him a chance. But just wait until you get to the next episode because the dude is just plain dumb. No way I'd be asking questions if someone's options was either kill me or give me a chance to survive on my own.
Rick and Shane would be an awesome duo if they could ever really work together. That Randall situation, I feel is just making their already insane situation much more difficult.
If it wasn't Randall, it was going to be something else. Shane feels like Rick swooped in and stole his family. He hasn't smiled since Rick has arrived. Andrea must not have done it for him. He hit it one time and never even looked in her direction again. 🤣
First reactors I’ve seen that think Rick is annoying. Interesting. I will say without spoiling Rick is a LEADER, and those “speeches” / actions definitely has helped boost the morale of his group for what is to come.
Rick is a great leader, but he has some annoying qualities. Kinda like Professor Charles Xavier. 🤣 Nobody's perfect. I'd much rather have Rick than not, but he can get on my nerves moaning about the hardships of being a leader. It is a hard position to be in, but he wouldn't have it any other way. He is NOT going to follow, so just lead bro. Stop acting like it's this burden that you can't escape. 🤣
Btw that walker thats on its own that shane kept looking at symbolizes how shane is and what his biggest fear is. Its being alone. The walker is on it own path without the other walkers the same way shanes is on his own. Its sad because it ain't true ricks literally the best friend shane could ask for so its up to shane to make his decision
I think the two dead security men are a reflection of Shane and Rick. They show what Shane and Rick were once Policemen and friends Now they are neither the one nor the other The Walkers stand for death The death of the friendship and the death of police officers Shane and Rick Maybe also for the death of law order and justice.

Getting infected has always been loosely addressed I would certainly think if you have any kind of open wound and Walker blood gets on you it would be Game over but they aren’t always consistent with that Sometimes they make you scratch your head with certain things It’s just how it goes.
Andrea did the right thing with Beth, Beth needed to find a way to live and now she knows it, good for Andrea, I am glad that Lori is Sticking up for Andrea in this situation, Andrea is my top 10 favorite woman character, the second is Lori and Carol
