I just want to say your tutorials have been a blessing to upcoming reggae producers to help keep this beautiful music alive. Hopefully those Jamaican producers who don't want to share their wealth of knowledge will understand that sharing is caring, and The Most High bless them that bless others! One love!
Hi bro, perfect remake of a classic riddim. When I saw the title I thought it was going too be a dub, what a beautiful surprise to hear you play the original version. Production 10/10, choice of toon 10/10, choice of clothing colours 10/10 (all 6 of you) I would love to hear you dub it up. Big up DMC. Peace and One Love ❤💛💚
Well executed DM and The Kahn's ! It sounds like the reggae. This was the tune that made me fall in love with the genre. The first time I watched Aston Familyman Barrett live onstage in Portland, Oregon (2006) they opened with this tune. I was like how did they know this was meant to be!! Later I realized how common the song is in a live reggae band setlist. Still though It makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up every time. Real Rock Riddim !!
Trombone too now brother Kahn?!?! It bad, it mad ma-ma-mad ma-ma-mad! Great works on the playing, the mix has a real classic sound too, continue the works 💥💥💯🆙🔝 dub on!!!
@@DMKahn all good here, but slightly less ambitious than you…I don’t know where you get the time to keep up with it all, some kind of dub time machine device maybe…😆
I bought a trombone some years back , never played one before but i managed to learn this tune in about 2 minutes. still haven't learned any other tunes !
Now record some rhythms with one mic in one fixed position to emulate the vintage sound. I thought the bent trombone note is sustained? Good sound and feel, Rub a dub master Kahn. Well done.
Good ear bro. It is more sustained! I’m only a month into learning trombone and at this point I was having a hard time playing the right length. I went back and recorded it longer but this one had a better vibe overall so I went with it!
More DM Kahns make the world a better place!
I love how the Kahns men each wear different but maching attire :D

I’ve only been playing bone for 1 month… can’t rip that solo yet breddren. I figured I’d leave it open as the overall vibes are still there
Di man is a 6 piece band all by himself to ras LOL!!! 😂🤣😁
Not so much diversity in this band lol :D Sounds pretty damn good
but he did wear a different Red/Gold/Green shirt for each instrument... i dislike Red/Gold/Green, it reminds me of idiots...
