Gohan unleashing his inner beast was one of the best moments of DBZ. Not only seeing Goku become a SSY but then to see his son who was too afraid to fight and didn't want to kill anyone. But after seeing Android 19 meet his end at the hands of Cell, you knew that all hell was about to be unleashed!
Bleach manga fans know that even when Kenpachi killed Nnoitra, he was still holding back by A LOT. Kenpachi is a savage in the Thousand Year Blood War arc. Can't wait for it to be animated!

In the original manga, Kenpachi Zaraki's BANKAI was both brutal and impressive. Tite Kubo did a very good job on that before the entire manga series ended.

Stop me if I’m wrong, but Gohan’s transformation required rage. Every time he gained a power boost earlier in the series, it was because he got angry. That’s not really holding back as much as having a reason to get angry. The first few times, it was a desperate situation, Raditz, survival training. Then he got angry when Piccolo died and his power shot up. The next time it happened was when Freiza impaled Krillin and then when Frieza severely injured Piccolo. Every time it happened was because the villain pushed him. The only one that did it deliberately was Cell. So it wasn’t him holding back as it was him losing his temper, and Gohan doesn’t have a short fuse. Maybe this would apply better if it was specifying Cell’s destruction from Gohan finally unleashing that galaxy destroying Kamehameha. Honestly, I would think that Yusuke Urameshi when he fought Toguro would fit in this list better. Because Yusuke was holding back against him, first, when he had his restraints on his Reiki, but also instinctively afterwards. It wasn’t until he thought Kuwabara had died that he finally let go of his own emotional restraints.

I remember that moment from Cell Games. One of the pitch perfect highlights of the saga. I also heard about Alucard and Level Zero from a friend but never saw it. That's OP! I remember that Rock Lee vs Gaara fight cuz that literally was in the first few episodes of the show. Not too far from Naruto going against his Sand Spirit using that Frog spirit. But for my favorite I'm gonna go back a bit and say when Vegeta went ape on Goku on their first fight. Also surprised Mob Psycho 100 when he achieved 100% isn't on here.

Stop me if I’m wrong, but Gohan’s transformation required rage. Every time he gained a power boost earlier in the series, it was because he got angry. That’s not really holding back as much as having a reason to get angry. The first few times, it was a desperate situation, Raditz, survival training.
Then he got angry when Piccolo died and his power shot up. The next time it happened was when Freiza impaled Krillin and then when Frieza severely injured Piccolo.
Every time it happened was because the villain pushed him. The only one that did it deliberately was Cell. So it wasn’t him holding back as it was him losing his temper, and Gohan doesn’t have a short fuse. Maybe this would apply better if it was specifying Cell’s destruction from Gohan finally unleashing that galaxy destroying Kamehameha.
Honestly, I would think that Yusuke Urameshi when he fought Toguro would fit in this list better. Because Yusuke was holding back against him, first, when he had his restraints on his Reiki, but also instinctively afterwards. It wasn’t until he thought Kuwabara had died that he finally let go of his own emotional restraints.
Even before watching the video i knew gohan would be in here somewhere.
