i remember when i was a kid, how many countless time i've watched this movie and how it affected me throughout my whole life. i was born 86. Definitely a classic. Sad that this kind of story telling and cinematography is no more. well its the definition of its era i guess. glad to be part of it :)
I was a teenager when this film came out. It was a total cheesefest and I felt sorry for Val Kilmer for trying to become the younger version of Harrison Ford (Indiana Jones, Han Solo). The film's premise was something out of a Dungeons and Dragons knock-off game, and wouldn't even pass for a cheap fantasy paperback novel. Beast Master, as cheesy as that was, had more originality and more innovation in terms of fantasy genre. Willow was basically the Christ-child story retold in some hybrid Medieval fantasy trope.

My father used to record all legendary movies for me when I was a child, such as the Indiana Jones Saga, The Goonies, and specially Willow, and when he allowed me to watch those movies, I can only say Thank You to him. Because of him, I’m now a strong and empathetic woman. Willow is without doubt my favorite movie ever made. That's so cool! My Dad did the same thing for me and my sister ... And others like , Legend and dark Crystal. . They just don't make them like that anymore ✌️ love and light

One of my favorite fantasy movies! I saw it twice in theaters at six and had stuff from shirt, lunchbox, coloring book, Wendy’s cup and all that. It needs an ultrahd 4k

Here in 2022.
