Great video! I love how you love your plants so much-sounds like we have similar taste when it comes to plants. You spoke about Springtime, where I live we are having what I call a second spring-because it is so hot in the summer, many plants go dormant, and now with the cooler winter weather they are all coming back and growing vigorously and seem very happy!
My green australis already sent out peduncles. I started from a cutting last October. I keep it at my south facing window. try expose them to more light. Love your Krimson Queen.
Here in the UK hoya retusa are very uncommon and is £16 for a 2 nood cutting. I ended up getting a mixed box cutting to get one. It did badly worse then I moved it again and now its gone nuts. Its got blooms. I have been sniffing at it at diffent times of the day so hoping mine will start smelling as it sounds so nice. I think ita my favourite hoya and hope now it's growing it will look as impressive as yours My hoya kerrii is a very odd shape and put out all of one leaf and its the standard one. Its in great light and its just slow. And it was an ebay one. I bid and thought I would get out bid hehe. Oh well. I do believe copper is ok for plants and it gets put round trees a lot. My hoya carnosa is one of my favourite plants Great video
@Fanciplants all the started growth points that have failed. The barky lumpy consistancy of the stem.... just experience saying that looks like the damage I've had on my Hoyas from them. A very thorough look with a magnifying device would tell you tho.
HOYA kERRI VARIGAted takes absolutely forever to start growing and they are very beautiful I have one and a green one the green grows faster by the way
I have a green kerrii and it shot a new stem out that is 2 feet tall. No leaves. I have it supported with a bamboo arch trellis. I’m thinking about cutting the stem off and sticking it in a prop box.
Hello from Puerto Rico!!! First timer on your channel and just subscribed!! My channel is in spanish but can be captioned. You have beautiful hoyas!! 🙋🏼♀️💚🪴🐩
Have you tried spraying orchid bloom on your Hoya? I think I just use that miracle grow spray, and I spray on both the leaves and the top of the soil. Since doing that all of my mature Hoya have bloomed when previously it hasn't.
Pretty sure the royal Hawaiian purple blooms are purple with pink in the middle instead of pink like the "regular " pubicalyx... and, I could be wrong but I think if in bright light all pubicalyx new growth is that dark color. I think it's the bloom that makes it a royal Hawaiian purple or not and that's how you tell the difference 😉
My Curtisii is slow growing. Maybe it needs new soil and a bigger pot. I think it just needs more light so now it’s in my west facing window sill. Also added a cutting I received from a mystery box of cuttings.
Hi there. Research flat mites and broad mites. Any Hoya that drops leaves, doesn’t seem to grow, or has thick scaring on leaves and stems are most likely to have these mites, which are not detectable with the naked eye. All the best with your Hoya😊

Wow enjoy that second spring!

Which Superstore did you find the Hoya Australia Lisa?
Loved watching your trip round your Hoyas! I’m a real fan but only have a few …. So far 😊
Yay, thank you!
Very cute collection!
Thank you!! 😊
You’ve got a lot of Hoyas at great prices. Well done.
Thank you!
Your green carnosa looks like it has flat mites.
Interesting... Why do you say that?
@Fanciplants all the started growth points that have failed. The barky lumpy consistancy of the stem.... just experience saying that looks like the damage I've had on my Hoyas from them. A very thorough look with a magnifying device would tell you tho.
The Hoya carnosa green is stunning 😍. And the Hoya Australis looks beautiful in that pot 😊
Thank you 😌

I just mounted on a hydroponic planter....I'm so curious to see how it does!
I have the same issue with my keri and I am thinking about putting it outdoors for the summer to see what happens. 🙈
Ohhhhh I've been tempted to do this as well!

I'll check it out! And thanks for watching ❤️
I have a retusa too. But mine hadn’t brown much. It’s under a grow light to see if that will help.

I'm currently using this: www.collabs.shop/byrdh2 and I hope it works similarly to the orchid bloom 🥰
I love my retusa! Besides my Krimson Queen, it's my favorite! I have it in a ot similar only, it's a smiling dog. Great video!
Thanks for watching😀and yeah retusas are so adorable!

Ohhhhh that would make so much more sense 😂
You are correct about the flower colors being different.
@@Fanciplantslet me know where I can send some photos of my Royal Hawaiian Purple blooms. You'll be amazed.
Hoya carnosa will be better climbing on a macrame hanger or a trellis

Hi dear, what kind of soil do you use? My Hoyas keep dropping their leaves 😔any advice is welcome!
My favourite soil mix is Molly's Aroid Mix from VeryPlants :

@@Fanciplants thank you dear
I will give it a try 💚

@@lc9215 thank you so much 🙏 I will check it out!!
In the Hoya australis, try getting light on the crown of the plant. That might help it bloom.
❤💚👍
😀
Maybe there were enough blooms at once to make them smell to you this year.
Oh that's a good point and would make sense!
"Don't be fooled by the Purple Hawaiian name"... ?! Clearly you've never seen it's flowers! You'll be amazed!
Haha yeah I understand the name now ☺️ thanks!
