Dax is like a very well-coded NPC that's almost, but not quite, completely emulating human behaviour and conversation
I hate that the kids are obsessed with "npc behavior". Could lead down a dark road if it becomes more than a joke fad.

There is a cast of characters around to serve my story, the rest are NPC / inhuman". If it's not recognized as a path to avoid, then it won't be avoided. Do some holocaust research and learn how propaganda starts with dehumanization

Right? I totally agree. His Dax Flame flavour is pure comedy gold and its just him being his weird self. He suffered for decades because he just didnt understand how to utilize the algorithm. Thankfully his ChatGPT stuff really kickstarted it so its only a matter of time before he's on everyones recommended. I was not subbed to Dax and his Max channel randomly popped up which is a VERY powerful sign. Hope he can capitalize on this before its too late, and I think he is!

I love how normal Defranco is, the last two guest being beautiful caricatures of themselves and Defranco is like your level headed man with great social skills, the contrast between him and past guests is great, this proves any guest would make for a very entertaining interview. keep it up Dax, love ya man

I thought this would be less interesting since they know each other (and thus Dax would seem less bizarre)… but he freaking killed it with making Phil feel like asking “wtf is happening to me right now” while Dax perfectly kept the sincere-style hosting going and the amazing content flowing.

the fantastic intro followed by silence as dax enters, the fog machine intro. the shaky camera work, the random off subject questions. its all genius. if i was rich i would make sure this show continued as long as possible. i love it and look forward to every episode. awesome job guys.

You know, I just want to take a moment to give credit to the absurdly perfect set design. I had to rewatch part of this video because I was so lost in the beauty of it all. The colour palate. The textures. The lighting. It really is perfect.
My attention was first drawn in by the colour palate. The orange, red, and purple of the Birds of Paradise pulling through not only the gradient of the skyline but also that of the desk’s lighting panel. From there the colours tie in again in the furnishings albeit more muted and contrasting. And finally the woody browns of the desk, table, mugs, and lamp all clashing with one another in a perfectly 70s-living-room type of way.
And finally the lighting. Almost too-perfectly complimenting it all in it’s “makeshift” quality, casting wide shadows and harsh highlightlights bringing the whole look together. I’m truly amazed.
It’s so beyond perfect I can’t tell if it’s actually “designed” as that would undoubtedly make that designer a genius, or a happy accident and it’s just come together as an act of god (or whatever you wanna call it). Just, damn dude. Couldn’t help but applaud it just now. Great job, guys.
I remember watching Dax Flame around literally the beginning of RUclips. I'm so proud of that man and how far he's come.

This show is incredible and criminally underviewed.
I think the only element it's missing is a Hannibal Burress type character to pop out and really underline some of the shenanigans, like when the smoke started pouring out "by accident"

Man just through this series, you can tell Dax is getting a lot better with his social anxiety! The questions are strung together much more nicely than in previous episodes, and you can see he’s getting more confident with his body language!

This is the format for DAX for sure! His delivery is amazing, he felt more at ease this episode and given time and guests I feel like he could deliver such a unique talk show, definitely keeps the guests in an alternate frame of mind and therefore more honest.
