I think if a player picks up the game now or maybe someone with a somewhat mid-high CL that has surfer could use her to fill the gap of maybe a Shaw or a brood, but overall there a lot of better cards to have in a surf deck than her, unfortunately she won’t often make the cut
it's bad in Bar with no name, if it locks a location you don't wanna lock right now for some reason, etc. I think there are many situations where it's better to control where your cards go.
It's more of the fact that there are really good 3 drops for Surfer already, so you'd have to sacrifice some tech or disruption or power to fit her in. That being said I threw her in my Sersi Surfer deck and its very fun, free 3-drop on board IS nice and I just love playing Silver Surfer
They really need a better way to get cards for people that don’t pour their life savings into this game. I’m tired of the power imbalance when we don’t have access to cards that definitely give the people who spend more an advantage

Good thing you moved the nocturne. Sword master on orchis forge was in fact guaranteed no strong guy as you still would have had 2 cards from the added sentinel.
I personally have Corvus Glaive/Hope Summers in my StrongGuy decks to make sure I can dump my hand if I need to with my blade/lady/prox combo along Silver Surfer.
This deck looks very refreshing! I love surfer/??? hybrid decks. I think I'd put Shaw in instead of Daken, as the shard has anti-synergy with strong guy and I think Shaw hit's the same power and has more location interaction.

I took a chance on her and she's been great in my Surfer Deck. Get a free 6 or 7 power more often than not when I usually lose games by 1-3 power..not saying she's the greatest or anything, but she's been putting in some decent work for me.
I built a similar list like this a few months ago with same theme back when Proxima first came out. It was doing numbers but the meta got weird and had to retire it. I get the band back together after all the meta shake ups.
I've been playing Makari in my Agatha decks since they came out, and I can't be sure how much they're helping, but I'm having one of my best winning streaks. It really is the hand clearing. I would occasionally run Black cat for no value just to ensure my hand wouldn't get clogged waiting until turn 3 to play ramp. Makari is just better (for that deck) most of the time.
I made a similar deck but used a Morbius, Dracula and modok lineup instead of the brood silver surfer and forge. They're good at emptying your hand and keeping strong guy buffed 💪
Can you let me know how you (and other streamers) can get every new card that comes out? And if I don't mind spending $ to get them, can you let me know what that process is to be able to get the new cards? Thx!
I can tell you. I've been planing snap for 2 months and am at 6k CL. Money. Lots of money. Buy up the pro bundles till you can't. I got 3 then they stopped selling them to me. Then buy every single bundle with tokens. Play all missions. Season pass, even the accelerated one. Buy every token Tuesday. Etc. You can get enough keys with all the CL gains to keep up. But then also buy the key bundles. It's possible to catch up to some extent and then keep up. Drop 4 keys every week. But it takes money. Hundreds of dollars a month. But the RUclipsrs can write it off as a business expense. 😅

I haven't snagged Makkari yet, but I was playing some surfer with a card picked out as my swap for her just to get a sense of it... and I think in surfer at least she's gonna feel good. I think you are often struggling to get all your 3's on the board... the only awkward bit is if you want to run abs man for your brood she could make space awkward depending on where she runs off too... your take does solve that problem, I'll be for sure trying this one out.... may swap nocturne for gladiator to be able to go a little taller, but Im not certain.

To buff it, make it 5/4 and her description should be - after every turns cost is reduced by 1(even if the card is in your deck) So after turn 5, it's a 0/4 card and you are free to choose where she will be played. Essentially she's the same as she is now a 0/4 card but you get to choose where she is played.
Would have loved Makkari to be a 3/3 so she could be in my Cerebro 3, but I understand that shed be underpowered outside the Cerebro shell. 3/4 seems fair.
I didn't have Dakken, so I threw Sersi in as that last card. This has been one of the best decks I've used in a bit. I have favorites, but generally I test out yours. Having the Brood/Sersi combo, in turn 5 have been nuts.
Maybe this is just me not being as good at the game, but this deck feels underpowered Vs what I'm coming across. I keep getting decent play lines but being just outmuscled decks capable of building more power than me.

tbh even when she had 3 power, my initial deck in mind is still in surfer deck
I don't see how Makari doesn't pop off like crazy in any surfer deck. Getting a free extra 3 drop on the board is never a bad thing.

There’s a shocking amount of uses for Makkari, even with how bad she is
Priority snatching, Moon Girl synergy, Strong Guy synergy, etc.
Works well in sera surf as well!

Cool deck. The only change I made was I added Sera, which allows me to play 3 cards on turn 6. I’m running at about 70% win rate .

Nocturne is actually pretty necessary with Makkari because it allows you to navigate around her going in a bad location
I feel like dracula infinaught would work super well in here. I used her in a deck with them and strong guy and they went nuts.
