Nah man just built it steep like old school arenacross! Makes it technical and separates the men from the boys. I think the dirt wasn’t the best which couldn’t have helped the build

The action at these never disappoints.. few years back my dad and I went to a local winter indoor Enduro cross race and during heats I told my dad "why didn't we enter this?" Right after I said that a dude ice picked a log and totally wrecked his shoulder.... my dad was like "I think we made the right choice."
Dude he’s actually kinda my hero for still sending that thing all night long!! 100% I would’ve been done after about 2 of those attempts, but he couldn’t be deterred I admire the determination for sure
I used to race with B Ray years ago in the CMC series. Well I didn’t race against him, I just raced the same places and series that he did. I was on a big bike when he was on 65s and 85s. He was always a favorite rider in his classes and was loved by everyone (except maybe the kids who lost to him). One time he ran out of gas during a sight lap at club Moto and they held off starting the race until he got gassed up and back to the line. I honestly don’t think they would’ve done so for anyone else but I might be wrong. Glad to see he’s doing good right now, hope he can make it in supercross

@mattburkeen820 Baltimore isn't some sort of mastermind theft capital. Trailers get picked off at suburban and rural hotel lots constantly, not from the security protected garage of the arena. I thought you country boys knew how to protect yourselfs and property.
Everybody as far as I know was all good, even BRay ended up checking out with only a sprained ankle or foot. Luckily the track being more low speed makes the injuries less common than you would think!
D and C class Arenacross is great if you’re interested in a potential near death experience. If the whoops and finish line doesn’t get you, there’s always a wall to whiskey throttle into.

I think it was mostly the dirt that was the issue, it was pretty strange. The tracks have been good this year, just building them technical and gnarly like old school AX!
