If one of you finishes from the last Tashahud,
Then he should seek refuge with Allah from four things:

وَمِنْ عَذَابِ جَهَنَّمَ،
وَمِنْ فِتْنَةِ الْمَحْيَا وَالْمَمَاتِ،
وَمِنْ شَرِّ فِتْنَةِ الْمَسيحِ الدَّجَّالِ
Allaahumma ‘innee a’oothu bika,
min ‘adhaabil-qabr,
wa min ‘adhaabi Jahannam,
wa min fitnatil-Mahyaa wal Mamaat,
wa min sharri Fitnatil-Maseehid-Dajjal
O Allah, I take refuge in You,
From the punishment of the grave,
And from the torment of the Fire,
And from the trials and tribulations of life and death,
And from the evil affliction of Al-Maseeh Ad-Dajjal

I've been diagnosed a few years ago with depression/ anxiety as a result of a lifetime of betrayal and abuse. It started as a child snd continued into my marriage, and believe it or not but Im still married to the same person 😢 I find it very hard to smile most days and it's like sinking deeper down in to a dark pit with no way out 😢 Can anyone give me advice as to the first step to take ? My real problem is finding a way to connect with ALLAH...i mean feeling true unwavering, heartfelt connection with ALLAH... please help😢😢

Shaddad ibn Aws narrates that the Prophet ﷺ said;
"The most superior way of asking for forgiveness from Allah is to say the following dua.
If somebody recites it during the day with firm faith in it,
and dies on the same day before the evening,
he will be from the people of Paradise;
And if somebody recites it at night with firm faith in it,
and dies before the morning,
he will be from the people of Paradise.”
اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّي لا إِلَهَ إِلا
أَنْتَ خَلَقْتَنِي وَأَنَا عَبْدُك
وَأَنَا عَلَى عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ
أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتُ
أَبُوءُ لَكَ بِنِعْمَتِكَ عَلَيَّ
وَأَبُوءُ لَكَ بِذَنْبِي

Allahumma anta Rabbi la ilaha illa
Anta Khalaqtani wa ana abduka,

A’udhu bika min Sharri ma sana’tu,
abu’u Laka bini’matika ‘alaiya,
wa Abu’u Laka bidhanbi

O Allah! You are my Lord! None has the right to be worshipped but You.
You created me and I am Your slave,
And I am faithful to my covenant and my promise as much as I can.
I seek refuge with You from all the evil I have done.
I acknowledge before You all the blessings You have bestowed upon me,
And I confess to You all my sins.
So I entreat You to forgive my sins,
for nobody can forgive sins except You.
