- So often what we choose to pursue has to do with whether or not we believe something is possible. DDP and his team have continued to believe that "anything is possible" for over a decade, and by doing so, have been blessed to see some remarkable comebacks.
When we met legendary boxing Butterbean, he was so crippled by his injuries that we had no idea what was possible in terms of a recovery. Our own skepticism left doubt in our minds as to what he would be able to do, and the ultimate outcome was a lesson for us all that many of us do not even know what we are capable of.

I was/am a Triathlete, competing at the Ironman World Championships in Kona Hawaii. In Nov 2021 was 100% paralyzed in the hospital and almost died. I atrophied 50 lbs of muscle in the first 30 days. On Nov 4, 2022 they released me from the hospital in a wheel chair.
The first thing I did was put the wheel chair in the garage and get to work.
In May I'll be competing again at my first triathlon in Mission Bay. I may not make the podium as I'm assustomed, but nobody and nothing will ever stop me from achieving what I set out to do. As soon as I am able I will be back to compete in Kona.
So powerful to hear a story like yours, brother. Adversity makes us stronger, and Kona is yours!!

You are an inspiration to everybody, I am a life time martial artist versed in many styles including boxing. The first time I saw you fight my jaw dropped, I was the typical serious martial artist and shredded, you changed my view's on body type and combat sports permanently. I wish you many happy years of a pain free happy full life. Absolute champ.
