Bon Jovi was my grandfather's favorite band. He always played me their songs when I was a little child.. Sadly I didn't get the chance to take him to a concert before he passed away after 7 years fighting against his cancer.. Through their songs, my grandfather keeps on living 🙏🏻❤️

The Summer of 2005 was even more awesome for me knowing this album was coming out in September! I was so excited when the day finally came! And this whole album DID not disappoint!! Bon Jovi forever!!
I've given it a thumbs up 'cause they are popular and BJ is good with the ladies. When I hear BJ it reminds me of a close friend from an old neighbourhood and they were her favourite back in the day. Her and her brother we grew up together, she was brilliant in the sciences and mathematics her leavers certificate was elite back in the day, the 80's early 90's. I believe BJ goes back to the late 70's. This band reminds me of her , she's now a mother married to a French fella speaks 3 or 4 languages chemical engineer and she is sharp as Cross country extraordinary squash champion , brilliant girl.

At the time when this album came out, I ignored it because it wasn't anything like Bon Jovi's earlier stuff. This song really was trying to get inside of me because I would still respond to it's hooks but I just brushed it off. Now that I am older, more open minded to music and have long accepted Bon Jovi having eschewed their big haired glam metal days, this album has finally gotten through to me and this is an absolutely storming powerhouse rock anthem.
This song changed my perspective on Bon Jovi, when I heard it in 2005. I did a deeper dive on the music, and most of the best Bon Jovi is not what you hear on classic rock radio.
When I was in University, the college library had a comment book where people could write messages, like a "graffiti wall." Some unknown student wrote "Jon Bon Jovi has AIDS ( I hope )." If I told my Mom that she'd probably say "Well, that's not very nice."

I went to a Bon Jovi concert in April of 2008 at the Sprint Center in Kansas City... one of the best times I've ever had.
