Great way to let the guy behind you know his damn highbeams are in your eyes.
It’s a good way to ask the person behind you tailgating if they have car insurance
@Mr04hayabusa Omg your absolutely right. Tailgators drive me crazy I'm always afraid there going to hit me
I’ve always wanted something like this to say, “Move Over!” when someone is moving slow in the passing lane.
I need one JUST for that.
Ooooohhhhh and you can switch the colors 😩😩 just take my money dude
Great video! I was looking for one to let people know behind me to lower their high beams 😆
Well, it'll work! 😂
Hi, thanks for creating this video! I've been curious to get a closer look, and it seems really nice. I'm wondering if you can tell by looking at the wire leads on the back if the wiring serpentines. Also, does the wiring run horizontally (left and right across the panel) or vertically (up and down the panel) when held in the normal / readable orientation? I'm asking because I'm thinking of bypassing the communications chip to use the panel for other fun DIY projects.
Show or for daytime use. Of course it’s gonna look good in pitch darkness. 🎉🎉😂😂
I bought this but lost the info for the app to control it anyone know the app for the rayhome led signs?
CoolLED1248
Can you do a quick video/photo of what it looks like during the day?
Can’t wait to use this to call drivers behind me gay and put the weirdest shit on it 🤣 spent $70 on the biggest one
😂 I've displayed some weird stuff before.
@@ReviewsAndHowTosupdate, I put “honk if you beat your wife” in bold letters and had 5-7 people honking at me back to back it was hilarious…. Till one old guy got offended and started recording me and the sign 😂, flipped him off and blasted music on my custom speakers.
@@Kevingarcia-lv2wm 😂 That's hilarious. Nobody has a sense of humor anymore.
Awesome thanks gonna wear this on a shirt at raves!!
@ReviewsAndHowTos hello and thank you so much for the review!
I have a few questions to you or anybody else.
1. Can you upload custom gifs into the app?
2. Have you heard (or anybody else) about TuneMax LED car display? Do you have any reviews about it?
3. You write in description, you can adjust predefined template animations, does it mean, you can change the text of the Happy new year, for instance?
Thank you for the answers!
You can create still custom messages and drawings, but I don't recall being able to create animated messages/gifs. Same with the predefined messages, you can only copy the still images, but not the ones that are animated. I believe...
They are always updating the software and images/messages. Especially around the holidays. I don't play around with it too much, I only had the name of my taxi company on there (Uber and Lyft, now, I quit the taxi gig) or a holiday themed message around Christmas. I'll look tomorrow and see if I can adjust the animations.
Do you have to pay a monthly subscription to use the app?
Nope
I got mine coming very soon can’t wait
Hi! Thanks for the review. Is there an option to show the "mirror image" of the design? I'm planning to use it for my livestream sessions. Thanks!
Yep, there's a mirror option!
@@ReviewsAndHowTos Oh, cool!!! Thanks, Tyler!
Is it customizable?
Yes. You can create designs and do simple text.
Can u turn off ur phone n still have the sign working?
Yes. You just need your phone to update the message on the screen. After that, it runs solo and continuously. Even if you disrupt power, it'll come back on with the saved message.
Very interesting. I have Hyundai Elantra the way my window is slanted you think it will work. Def looks cool
Can you put your own texts in it? If I wanted a specialized message for tailgater's can I put it in?
Yes! Along with designing whatever you want, there is an easy text entry as well. This is what I used to type in "Rayhome" on the back of the car. Normally, it's scrolling the name of my business. It also has a funny "BACK OFF" preloaded message with images. 😂
@@ReviewsAndHowTos nice thank you!
What size is this?
27x5 inch
If you could see it good during the day, then it would be a great product. But unfortunately, it’s not bright enough.
I've been safely driving with this as a hands-free iPhone device for about a year.
Thanks! The load up time is not great. 😒
Mine never takes too long. The more sophisticated the animation then the longer. But, usually within 30 seconds with even the really complex holiday animations. I'm also always close, so that may help as well.
Can you send me a link where i can buy with the bigger size like this because i have the small one
is there something I can put on the back of the car for sun blockage. i was curious. I had to get another car charger because an error message. Have had it for over 4 months now.
My rear window is tinted really dark, which makes the sign stand out really well.
Dude your voice alone made me buy one.
Ha! Thanks!
Man, you have a nice voice!
Do you have to be in the same area as the sign or can it work from 60 miles away?
You just need to be close when programming it via Bluetooth. After that, you can put it anywhere with a power source.
What's the name of dot matrix led ?
What is the app name?
CoolLED1248
Would it stick to window with tint?
Yep. My window is tinted and I've had zero issues.
Is sign visible during bright day light?
Yes
Hey Man, super interested in this, is there a brightness setting?
Yep! You can easily adjust the brightness in the app.
@@ReviewsAndHowTos sweet! Thanks for the quick reply
My taxi company failed 😢
Sorry to hear that! I do quite well in a smaller city. Nobody drives for Uber or Lyft, so taxis stay busy!
Hello, does this always have to be plugged in to work? Or is there a way to charge it and carry it around?
It needs to be plugged in. But, it operates off a USB-A. So, you could probably hook it up to a portable power bank and be good to go.
@@ReviewsAndHowTos Thank you
How do you clean it if the front of it the front is sticky?
It's not really sticky, like glue. It's more of a static cling.
@@ReviewsAndHowTosso if you drop it in dirt just rinse with water?
Very dusty here.
@@dangeroustoman Yep. It'll wash right off. Just need sure to not get it near the connections.
@@ReviewsAndHowTos So you don’t actually need tape to stick it on? Like It’ll stick by itself
Correct. It's "clingy" to windows. I've had mine on the back of my car for over a year with no issues.
Too slow the change between signs, not buy.
Switching between signs is slow?
@@PaymentsBCUploading text takes only a few seconds. Uploading moving graphics takes about 30 seconds. I'm not constantly changing graphics, so it's not an issue for me. And, I'm not sure why anyone would constantly need to change graphics...
@@ReviewsAndHowTos I just ordered mine last week still waiting for it to arrive! Thanks for help
Are they legal?
Laws can vary in different areas. For my city, the only restriction was no red lights up front and no blue lights anywhere. Though, I see blue Uber lights all the time, so they're quite relaxed around here. But, if I go to a city about an hour away, they like to hand out tickets like candy.
Hey Tyler, thanks for the review. Is there a preprogrammed design for a traffic delineation, such as a scrolling left arrow bar?
Yes! I've used it a few times when pulled over on the side of the road.
Thank you@@ReviewsAndHowTos
