In this video I will test Rob Hoffman's award winning trading strategy 100 times on Solana 5 minute chart and compare the results to other strategies I've already tested on this channel. This highly profitable trading strategy can be used when trading forex, crypto or stocks. It's also suitable for all timeframes. I watched your backtest. Why does it ends with the 30th trade and then the video snaps into 100 closed trades? Hard to belive the results without seeing the full backtest process.
I know people usually skip the backtesting bit so I’m trying to make it as short as possible, I mean I could include all the 100 tests but it would result in the video performing worse than usual in terms of audience retention

can you test this strategy for 5 minute chart: psar, rsi and macd set at 3 minutes.
rules for long: psar has to open below candles while macd is green and rsi is above middle
rules for short: psar has to be above candles while macd is red and rsi is below middle
stop loss is set at the psar, and the take profit is half the stop loss
Nope, mate, you will not get a 61% success rate, with just those rules. I've tried this more than once. Its a waste of time. Hoffman definitely had some additional rules or...simply had a far better understanding of the market, that allowed him to pick winning trades...at any rate the rules here are not enough to make this profitable. Anyone that has tried it can attest.
I don't know if it's said in the video, I don't speak English well, but Hoffman had another trick, he says that he personally uses an EMA 20 to check the trend, and only if he sees a retracement bar in a really clear trend, then he takes the trade.

@@udohpaul2869 check out the trade Rush channel and check out all the 200 ema + MACD videos. This system combined with resistance/support lines works really well.
There are more rules to finding your entry in the original strategy
Exploring 'naked chart' has been beneficial for me. Using the understanding of pure basic support and resistance(SNR), support with Fibonacci Retracement, I made profitable trades countless time. No matter what timeframe you are using, be it lower timeframe or higher timeframe, if you understand enough, you'll be profitable. And perhaps you can merge this indicator with SNR to get maximum profits.
And no one mention online trading signals channel for their effort .. He is the only one who talked about the secret of the lines and their convergence, even Hoffman did not mention this in his book
No Bro, I followed ur video and did exactly the same today...I tried 18 times either i was unable to open a trade or as soon the trade opened it was an instant loss. I watched this video like 50 times but none of the target was achieved.
dont depend on indicators... learn market structure it is the best indicator to guarantee a 90% win rate
look up rsi supply/demand by lij_mc and you'll take less trades that are obvious fails
That's because the rules presented here are not enough - you will never get this high win rate with this barebones ruleset.
You would gwt destroyed by the spread trying to actually trade this
Depends on the market and timeframe, i found that the 1min to 3min timeframes are too unstable to be traded with this strategy. I recommend 5min to 1hr for this one since it filters out all the possible losing trades and most of the time, if you do get an entry it is a winning one, it just goes down to your sl and tp placement.

What are the settings of the individual lines (e.g 20 EMA, 7 SMA etc) and how can we find out to try and automate this strat?
could you test again the strategies that you have already done? but sperately in terms of win rate, like long position's win rate, and short position's win rate.

Imagine you're racing a car in a night w/o headlights and relying only on your collision sensors. This is what you're doing trading like that.

This strategy is complicated as hell and it´s worse than a simple MACD strategy. If you do simple MACD and combine it with not opening a trade when MACD crosses but put an order slightly above the high / below the low of the candlestick when MACD crossed and only leave it there for one more candle, you arrive at a whopping 78% win rate, add trend-following and volume above average into the mix and you are at 82%
Which stetergy you suggest most
@TradeIQ this strategy has merit and I hear opposing views on it. It is worth mentioning that this a great base strategy and can do with optimizations to have better results either a higher win rate or a larger profit, within a shorter period of time too. But I like that it follows trends.

FYI Overlay uses these ma's: 3,5,50,89,200 SMA's & 18,20,35,144 EMA's- there is also a custom channel within it using Wilders/ATR and a small computation.....

What do you mean by 'next candlestick sell order' ? Can you elaborate on that
really awesome video im testing it now !! but i have a question do we still enter if there is a white line above the purple and green lines there are no lines between the purple and green line but there is a white line above the purple line do we enter or wait for the next opportunity ? also if the next cantle doesnt hit the price we set to trigger our order can we enter the next candle with the same signal if it triggers our order or do we wait for a new signal for example we get the 45% signal but the next candle doesnt trigger our order but the next one after it does is it valid or do we wait for a new 45% signal ?

SNR is so low at intraday timeframes that 100 trades on a single market has NO statistical significance whatsoever. Stop fooling yourself and start learning proper strategy development.
I think this strategy is weak for crypto. It's a pity that you rarely test on crypto. many people are interested in BTCUSDT. And the ranking you do is once on eth, another time on currencies. and the opinion which strategy is the best is not reliable then.
