The good stuff from Beverly Hills goes straight to the website. Here in Silicon Valley the ritzy areas do have the best stuff, but by and large, Goodwill has someone who's job it is to separate out the high end stuff, price it accordingly and send it to the website or put in a glass case.
So the Goodwills in Beverly Hills CA are the same as here in Greensboro NC?! But they do miss stuff. Just yesterday at GW I thrifted a Christian Dior petal pink half slip for $.99 which sells for $50-$60. They can't catch everything!
You know I really don’t like Goodwill because it’s not a nonprofit and they basically just make all this Profit and give a marginal percent to a cause. I try to shop at the smaller ones and also Salvation Army were 100% of donations go to a purpose however I really do wish the other places had the bins because that would be awesome.
