Thanks a lot. I can't thank you enough for telling us about this simple solution. I tried everything, modified my Path variable in countless ways and followed so many suggestions from Stack Overflow but eventually the solution was so simple. This problem shouldn't happen, it's happening because of bad design by Oracle at some level.

For those who actually do not want to delete Java, simply go to Environment variables and move the jdk path you set to the top of the list.

The problem is that you uninstalled the update you had installed... and now you are still using the same old version. I think the best way to upgrade is to uninstall everything and then download a new SDK and reinstall it.

I appreciate the fix! Thanks much. Would you be able to say what exactly it is about this that solves the problem? Is it because there is a JDK and JRE in a Java bin file already? I was afraid to uninstall Java at first, but sure enough, Java still ran after following your fix (I didn't trust you at first and had to read for about twenty minutes before I started realizing that your solution was the correct one!)

I solved the problem on my PC: go in "Path" to modify the javapath. Check in that line, if you have other previous version of Java. In my PC in the same line there were 2 version of Java (the java 14 version and an older one; I removed the old one and now everything works)

Hello, so i am having 2 problems at the same time, 1 is the "JNI error" in this video and the other is javac not recognized as an internal/external command. After i reinsstall the java, problem 2 was solved but problem 1 still exists. After uninstall the java update like the vid, the command java "main class" cannot find the main class anymore :(.
