Omg this actually worked! Usually accessing my whistle register was a hit or miss, but now I'm able to even use it in my original songs without it sounding harsh. Thanks for this x

It would be great to have a V vocal training routine.
Were you able to go as high as E6 with a lip trill from the beginning or did it take time and practice to reach that note? Because I want to extend my voice into the whistle register. Are there any exercises I could do?
You could go to head voice up to C7. It’s very difficult. I don’t know if whistles can be learned I think they are natural/god given
@@theeepidural6144 In the meantime I've learned to sing in whistle voice. It's a skill you acquire through constant practice.

I’m struggling for the whistle
Hey friend. A I am watching your video I have some feedback to retain active engagement from the audience. I try different warmups all the time. My background is in classical and thats what I know best. However, I like to browse around the net for exercises to expose my voice to different genres. I no longer do compertitive nor private lessons because of work. And yet, I still record songs and talk to people. Anyway, as an educator I can tell you that there is too much theory on the first 2 and a half minutes. As a singer I am ready to sing and I wanna go straight to it. What if you have your audience to like sirens or something while you talk. or you can break up the theory. you know? :) great content by the way!

I personally enjoyed that part. I learned something I never heard before about the false belt! HOWEVER it would be pretty cool to hear that while we are vocalizing (that is if we can actually hear, that's the other thing to consider)

There's videos of her warming up with those before a show back in 2013 so she's sang The Way and other songs from Yours Truly on this vocal warm up :) idk if she continued doing the same one after that
