Man, I've been accompanying your channel for quite a while now and I'm posting this comment just to say: you're amazing. Awesome content, awesome art, awesome presentation. Seriously underrated subscriber-wise. I've started my "let's see what is this with youtube and streaming" journey about 2 years ago and your content surely helped quite a good deal. I know it's been almost a year since you uploaded this. Still, it's really helped me to understand how to set this up when all I'd get before were instructions that confused me and went too fast for my ability to understand (no hate to the other content I looked into, it's a me and my comprehension speed thing, not a them thing). Good tutorial. I was using V Magic Mirror and was trying to find a way to do VTubing without having to use a ton of resources on graphics. Also respect the artist shoutout at the end.

For some reason this refuses to work for me, I copied the files in to my OBS folder but it's not showing up as a new Source, anyone know why?
i fixed mine, my problem was i ended up putting the files in the SHORTCUT path of OBS as opposed to the ACTUAL app's path.
my shortcut OBS app was on C drive, so I moved it to my actual app's path on D drive. hope that works! :O
There is an other plugin that works better, idk the name but it was an audio filter, that u put on ur 2 Pics. Waaaay more better than this

Plugin works for me. Simple as that
I did everything exactly in the video, and the new source showed up. I chose my audio as mic/aux and the reaction isn't working. It just stays on the first image. :(

I don't know why the plug in isn't showing up for me? i've done everything you've said but when i go to add a new source the image reaction isn't there??? PLEASE HELP
Followed the instructions, but "Image Reaction" just does not show up. Step by step, did everything I was supposed to but no dice. Great tutorial but there HAS to be something wrong if I'm doing the exact same things shown in the video and nothing is happening.

@@JAMmonytI did finally get it working. Take the instructions and throw them in the trash. Manually open all the files and put each section where it needs to go by hand. Just putting the folders into the main DL location does not work.
@@elijahgrimm8052 I actually got lucky after a while and it just sort of appeared inside of the files/OBS it self. I think I did have to manually move each file into their proper folder tho

Sadly, it's not as easy for me, since I'm using Linux Mint, and every step just divides in 100x more steps. I already cannot install plugins properly - the OBS folder just doesn't exist, and creating it by myself does nothing

tried doing this with discord webcam, however when I stop talking the original image is off screen compared to the gif when I talk, and when I move it it only allows me to move the one image. Any idea on how to fix?

hmmm, Everything seems to be working, except it wont accept an animated gif as the "Image when silent" as its supposed to. Anyone deal with this?

You made it super easy to do this, Thank you. Is there a way to do mutiple image reactions at once. Like adding a new reation to an existing image. Making it have multiply changes?

I found out how. You have to put the files in the folders manually. Open the folders and the last folder in that folder will have the stuff. Copy the stuff and go into obs plugins files and them paste them into the folder with the same name you copied them from.

I'm not sure why that little "Source" menu isn't showing up in the dashboard for the program, and I can't seem to find how to get it to show up.
in the OBS app, look at the options at top and go to "Docks" and "Sources" might be unclicked for you :O

i'm a pepega and figured it out LMAO
so i initially had the files sent to my file path that was just the SHORTCUT to the app, not the actual app that was placed elsewhere.
in my case the shortcut was in C drive while my actual OBS studio app was in D drive (along with all my other assets and such for OBS LMAO)
