- In this weeks video I’ll be doing an extreme organizing and clean up of under my kitchen sink. It’s a complete mess and totally unorganized.
I’ll also be organizing my batteries, doing a little thrift shopping at goodwill and finishing some things in my foyer.

Doggie daycare is fantastic. Gus absolutely loved it! He would come home and sleep for a full 24 hours from all the playing 😂

Mostly just a tip for your viewers, a great time to buy inexpensive area rugs is back to school (think college dorms) however I find these are cheaply made. I use one in my office, there is a doorwall and so an entrance to the back yard where my dog (well and people too) bring in lots of dirt (especially on muddy days like right now). I use a carpet cleaner on it a few times and then it just gets replaced frequently. I hope you find one you really love for your living room! Your home is looking amazing, great job on all the decorating you've done so far! I love everything! ♥

I recently reorganized under my kitchen sink and put down a special absorbent mat I got on Amazon that is specifically for this use and soaks up any leaks. It's washable, easy to cut using regular scissors, and I got it in a light pink (my favorite color) It got a very high rating from people who have purchased it. Then I put the cleaning products in shallow plastic trays. It feels so good to get it clean, cleaned out and done, doesn't it? 🥰🌱🍀🌷💐💗✝ ********* Oh and one little tip, when you go to organize under a kitchen sink, especially if you have a disposal, make sure to tighten the rings on the pipes, as they can loosen over time with the vibration of the disposal.

Undersink cabinets have always grossed me out for some reason. I made sure to add a motion light, keep minimal cleaning supplies in an easy to grab caddy, and a fire extinguisher. I know it's wasted space but it doesn't become an overwhelming task when I deep clean twice a year. Love your channel!!!
It’s not wasted space if you are comfortable with how the space looks and functions Ana! Kudos to you for doing what works best for you even if it’s not what a lot of others do ❤️❤️
Lots of decluttering and spring cleaning taking place in my house. Threw out an old sofa and mattress today. Cleaned out pantry yesterday. Not brave enough to tackle the upper sink cupboard yet 😳. Still a long way to go but staying strong and pushing ever forward. Progress over perfection.
For stripped screws, you can put a large rubber band in the screw head and then use the screwdriver. I have tried this and it works!!

Our guest bedroom has a small toilet & shower room that had ceiling dry wall with condensation in it. We primed & repainted it. Super cleaned the tub, organized/decluttered under the sink in the connecting room. I made a shower curtain from a paint drop cloth. Oh yes, I recaulked the tub too!

Very satisfying clean up and organise, thank you. Isn't that such a great idea to put down the outline of the rug to get an idea - and they are an investment so it's good to try to have some idea of what you'd like. Also - I think the foyer grand clock sounds like your foyer looks and feels - lovely and calm and welcoming.

You can use an elastic band to put on your screw and the band gets the grip of the screw to undo that way

Your Goodwill has really nice finds. I have one down the street and it's pretty bad. I have only been twice. I donate clothing and small appliances. I was going to start spring cleaning but my oldest brother passed away. This is the second brother to pass away, in recent years. Thank you for having a great video to watch. I needed a break!

Hi Jodi! Cleaning the back of under sink cabinets is the worst!! Lol! My son just moved out to his own place. We are starting renovations in that room. So, of course...everything is everywhere and making me nuts! But it will be so worth it in the end.
Yes definitely worth it in the end. Keep reminding yourself of that to get through the chaos 😂
I babysit my almost year old granddaughter and am switching out the decor in her room to Where the Wild Things Are, a process but I had to get some paint for the letters in her name under the kitchen sink and mine needs some cleaning and reorganization too.

I bought some cheap peel and stick flooring tiles for under the sink, didn't even take the backing off so it wouldn't ruin the wood. Love it! You did such a great job! And motivated me to focus on reorganizing our under the sink area. Thanks!

you can get mat protector mats that are clear and would help with the chair transitioning from floor to mat and prevent damage.

At Home Depot, they sell peel and stick floor tiles. They cut with scissors to the correct size. Much easier to keep them clean then the cabinet bottom.

Absolutely love the grandfather clock! I love to thrift also and I knew you would buy the candle holders! FYI Amazon has battery tapers that run on a timer! I bought 2 and so very happy with them! I had the same problem with my base cabinet. Amazon has a great sink mat made by drymate. U got the xl one and it did my sink and bathroom sink to. It definitely one of the best things I've bought

Definitely recommend washable rug!! We have finally decided to go that route! Definitely $$ saver! We got ours at walmart I think Better homes and Gardens. We also have kids, and dogs. So hopefully that helps!!

Jodi, Do you have an Ollie's store in your area? If so check there for an area rug. Their prices are so much lower than other places. Another idea is to go to a carpet store and check their remnants. You can have them bind the edges.

I put a high sided lazy susan under my sink, up front, to put the items that I use more often. I love it. I just spin it to get the item I need. Behind it, I have a few things that don't get used often. The other side of the sink, I have a rectangle bin from Dollar Tree that I take my roll of garbage bags out of the box and put it in. I want the acrylic drawers to hold sponges and dishwasher tabs. I may have to check those out.

I have a desk almost identical to that one you saw only mine is white. I love it so much. Clorox clean up is one of my top favorite all purpose cleaners because it works so well, I just always try to remember to not wear colored clothes when I use it. I have had it bleach my clothes before. Started my spring cleaning today! The one area in my house that drives me bonkers is my master closet. I've been decluttering it a little every week for 2 months now ( 4 of us share it) but it's just a mess. I need to clean and organize it. I think an 8x10 rug would be perfect for your front living room! We have a 12'x15' in our living room, while I could have ordered an even bigger size I did not want to pay anymore than I already was and I got it on Amazon for a bargain.

A large rug will ground your room. Make sure any furniture has the front placed on it. If you look at Pinterest for some ideas or RUclips on how to dress a room, you'll see the difference between too small of a rug and a large rug.

That $36 was a great deal! If you can find a second hand-or on sale new one-wool rug-go for it. They actually can be washed and cleaned-there are some good channels on here showing that. The fibers are not emitting nasty chemicals. I bought some about ten years ago-LOVE❤❤ them. They shed at first, but after that they are super easy to maintain. Pricey, but worth it.
Oh scrapping off old caulk and putting new is a pain. It does look great once done ❤️

A trick for stripped screws..... Take a rubber band, put a section of it over top of the screw, press screwdriver firmly into place, and turn..... You would probably need a shorter screwdriver.

I redid. All the origation under both of my sinks it really needed it i try to keep it neat but this time i was in a hurry put things away n it got all messed up si had to oragnized it today so im going to try harder put things away so wont have to do it again except to clean under there but i use liner so dint hace to take every thing out enjoyed ur video new to ur channel
If I may suggest a few things please. Maybe you could line your under sink with colorful liner. I just did my laundry room cabinets with marble looking liner from Walmart. And also last fall I decided I wanted a washable rug under my kitchen table. These are alittle expensive but I love my new rug from RUGGABLE! It is round and comes with a nonslip pad. Made in USA too and I love it. 😊

Tell the hubby I did the leg work. Tell him I said you got a bargain but it's not a million dollar pitcher 😉. You should tape your trip to shop at the goodwill. I would watch it. Also, i would keep an eye for holiday decor there since you are into decorating for it now !

Love the under sink organization, but to help with not ruining your cabinet bottoms, they make liners specific for under the sink that are plastic that help with this. I would assume they are fairly inecpensive. My house came with mine, so I'm not entirely sure about the price. Hopefully, that is helpful. Love your channel.
