I was just gushing about Ghost when I saw this pop up in my notifs. Suisei’s original emanates raw emotion and feeling due to its personal ties while IRyS’s cover makes me feel strong and, for lack of a better word, hopeful! Its amazing how a different singer can change the “feel” of a song. Another beautiful cover to add to the list 💎

Suisei's voice has a lot more power, but I think Irys' lighter voice adds its own flavor to the song. If anything was lost in the cover, it's the force of the emotions that Suisei put into it; no one else will ever be able to match that exactly, because Ghost was inspired by her own struggles. Anyway, Irys did a beautiful cover regardless. Her voice is always fantastic. 💕💎
