Suisei's voice has a lot more power, but I think Irys' lighter voice adds its own flavor to the song. If anything was lost in the cover, it's the force of the emotions that Suisei put into it; no one else will ever be able to match that exactly, because Ghost was inspired by her own struggles. Anyway, Irys did a beautiful cover regardless. Her voice is always fantastic. 💕💎
As a half Japanese who grew up listening to and singing Japanese music for as long as I can remember it's difficult to express in words just how much this song means to me. Hololive has many talented singers and I can never get enough of it, but a performance like this from my favorite EN members just is so meaningful. Thank you IRyS! Suisei’s original emanates raw emotion and feeling due to its personal ties while IRyS’s cover makes me feel strong and, for lack of a better word, hopeful! Every artist puts their own flavor on a cover and this is all Irys. There is a gentleness to her voice. Suisei has such a large voice that her original is so emotional and touching.
