If you watch professional tennis, football (soccer), etc there is not this thinking that exists that only the most recognizable names are legitimately talented and everyone else is bummy. This OKC team is talented, Shai has been killing it for seasons now playing at MVP level and Dort has proven himself as an elite player in this league on defense already. Can’t forget the acquisition of Holmgren, the two J Williams. Add that to a deep lineup including top 3P% Isaiah Joe , Aaron Wiggins and Gordon Hayward with a witty COTY in Mark Daigneault. With how good they performed all regular season… what more do you need to respect the elite level of this squad? I hope and truly believe they can win the championship this season

1st, the OKC crowd is fantastic. Few fanbases can compare to this atmosphere.
2nd, Holmgren gave the Mavs quite some headaches and I don't understand, how Lively and Gafford can't just muscle him out of their way. The kid is quick and talented, I'll give him that.
3rd, considering the Mavs being a dominant offensive team all season, them being kept under 100 pts is a rarity... maybe it is just me, but they seem to have tried (and hit) far less 3's, than they normally do...
As a Mavs fan, I can only respect the great execution by OKC. They looked like a REAL #1 seed today.
Mavs would be much better if Luka would stop trying to score and going 12% from the field. Just get the team involved and let Kyrie cook

you're right, Luka hold on to the ball much longer. It kills the dynamics of the team. Kyrie should be the point guard with better pacing of the game. Luka should serve as shooting guard instead.

okc played very good basketball as a team, offensively and defensively. some players struggled in first half but they fixed it very much in the second. at the dallas' side, something was wrong with doncic, his knee bothered him but that wasn't the main thing. i think he missed couple of shots in early game, okc defense pressed doncic every time he got the ball and did not even let him breathe when ball is in his hands. then he downed mentally from the game quickly. kyrie tried somethings time by time but that didn't do enough.

No one was stopping Shai this game. It really looked as if he got whatever he wanted. The team also did a great job at shutting Luka down. He got doubled the entire night and didnt really know what to do but pass the ball. He played right into what the Thunder wanted. I do not think this will happen again unless the Mavs are just completely a joke and make zero adjustments.
