I'm actually working on something very similar, though with a major lack of advanced parts like this Would love instructions for this though, that'd be really helpful and awesome!
This buggy has been disassembled long ago, and I have no instructions, sorry. I am thinking on building the Second Version of it in the future with many improvements. Have fun with your build!
@@rclegogarage6941 btw, you said in the eurobricks form that it goes 15km/h. Is that on full throttle? Because I would definitely expect more out of a brushless system, like 25 at least. What is your gearing/diameter of wheels?
@@BrixDownUnder Yep 14-17 km/h on full throttle. There is a 5.4 gear reduction in the motor housing and 12:28 at the differentials. To speed it up, I can use 20:12 gears instead of 16:16 in the central driveshaft, though I am not aiming for higher speeds. From many tests of multiple Lego cars I found that 15 km/h is a very good max speed: it provide a great driving experience and at the same time keep the Lego car very controllable (we know that RC 30+ km/h cars get crashed very often), which really saves the car form crashes!
Currently nowhere ;-( 3D models are also kept in secret by their designers. Though another design will be available soon (you can find info under the link): www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/forums/topic/194125-brushless-motors-in-the-lego-world-general-topic/&tab=comments#comment-3601106
I am glad you like it! The wheel hubs I use can not be purchased any more since the production has been closed 5 months ago. Though there is a new manufacturer coming (you can find info under the link): www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/forums/topic/194125-brushless-motors-in-the-lego-world-general-topic/&tab=comments#comment-3601106
The sun-gear of the motor spins with 14000 rpm. It rotate the planetary gear with 5.4 gear reduction, finally there is 12:28 reduction in the differential. Summing up, max rpm of free-spinning wheels is about 1100 rpm
Looks like that Iconic one from that Off-road Outlaws game
