Marriage is a great gift of the Almighty
Great video! Thank you so much for sharing. To chip in on the "How do you tell a GOOD guy from the RIGHT guy." Someone could be good, I mean super good. The talk and fruits and matching, the love of the Lord, love people, are everything." But, YET, could not be the right person for you because your purpose does not align. They could be good but not good for YOU because of the destiny and purpose God has for you. So, how, then, does one figure that out? 1. You talk to God about it. "God, I met this child of yours, and I like them, but is this person right for the journey you're taking me on?" You WAIT till God gives you the go-ahead. 2. Do YOU know your purpose? If you know where you are going or at least have an idea, you will easily figure out if this person can go with you or not. If you know your purpose, run your purpose, plans, and visions by this person and examine their countenance. Are they supportive and enthusiastic about it, or they flat-out don't care? If you don't know your purpose, you should probably start by knowing it. What has God been saying to you? Marriage shouldn't impede your purpose & destiny; it should boost it. And WHO you marry matters. The good guy or girl may not always be right. We need the Holy Spirit to help us discern. God bless.

The answer to the anointed question really brought an answer to me about someone I had to let go for the reason that he was trying to change, go to church to get to me and it was not who he really was. I prayed about it and God led me to let him go. He wasn't the one. But through prayer and waiting for God is a great way to know. This guy went out of his way to pursue me and very attentive. He had my love language. But I knew by the fruit that his life style was not Christ centered. God gave me many confirmations. Pray and ask God to show you. Sometimes I still think about him since I'm not married but thanks for the reminder. I know why God has me in this season. And I will continue to trust Him. To live a purposeful life for Christ now and if God has plans for marriage it will come.
Im so glad ya'll said that because as a single some married folks be making marriage sound miserable. And I believe like No. Imma have a Fun Fun Fun marriage blessed by the Almighty. Be it unto me according to my faith. Praise Jesus

Few concerns. One time I had a disagreement with your husband over something on Instagram and he was very rude. As Christians we need to be nicer to each other. A lot of times we put judgment on people because they’re “not my type.” And women who date black men tend to discredit black women and their real experiences. This is why I have a problem with black men in and outside of the church who date out. All of a sudden you because of you’re nationally can speak to me about my issues. You can block me, Heather Lindsey already did. But my point is, how can you speak to me as a black women on issues and correct me, but not be open if the shoe was on the other foot? I’ve been supporting/watching you all since you were in college and before you got married as inspiration to my future marriage. Amanda, my experience was not yours. And it’s because I’m black. The mistrust I sense towards black women is not ok. You can delete this and block me, find me on IG and block me as well and take me off the email list if you cannot see your wrong. You are judged by how you treat the least in the kingdom of God. If you didn’t claim to know Christ, I wouldn’t even care to say anything. I hope this doesn’t come as an attack, it’s not my intention. But tbh I’m tired of being nice to people who are not nice to me

But see people in the Bible was not friends before they got married. The Bible can be taken out of context and also not biblical. Some people wasn’t even friends before they got married.

@@AmandaPittman good to see you too sis, now there has been some people that was friends before they got Married. I can say that everyone situation courtship marriage are different . However. What I am saying is that me and in me, I wouldn’t tell ppl or make it seem like they have to be friends before they get married. Because Ive heard and believe according to the Bible some people testimony meet the same month and. Got in engage the next month. So that right there says that it wasn’t a friendship built, they knew because t he they heard from God, God join them. And God answered their prayers. I mean God knows and people who hear from God knows. I get that you may have built a relationship with your now husband that’s great. I get where you coming from because of past people experiences and divorce rates are high rocket , but I not gone say that that they should or shouldn’t. Because that’s not everyone testimony some people know off hand!

We are all family in the body of Christ and we all trying to make it into the promise land, which we will. And when we get there we will see each other for the rest of our life! I pray that I get to see you again sis one day I come to visit Dallas tx in the near future. Thanks for responding to me. I’m not trying to argue or say you was wrong. Not my intentions.
