We saw our first big swell of the El Niño winter at Blacks with waves pushing 10-15ft. East coast novelty wave legend Ben Gravy made an appearance in the lineup getting some solid rides.

The biggest day of the swell. Ben Gravy 1:52 and Zeke were out there. Dolphins rippin’ too. Nice camerawork Zachary. Did anyone you know film LJ Shores and the Cove area?
None of the people I know were out at the cove. I did see that it was massive.

Looks pretty mild, but when the right swell comes that spot gets heavy! Sounds like a freight train coming at you...
I'm sure it got heavier as the tide dropped it was quite fat in the morning.
I'm talking double overhead, that SWELL Is not that big!
My buddy and caught 2 days in a row double overhead, f-ing scary! I needed a couple more inches of board.
My 7' mini gun couldn't get in, Roger and the lifeguard from Norcal were picking everything off, with their longer boards...and we didn't have to hike in. The lifeguard had a key to the gate, EPIC day!!! F-ing scary. My buddy Roger has surfed there his entire life...
Black's can be unforgiving, I have the scars to prove it!
the guy at 0:52 just hits a stereotype, surfer or california / as he basically rides over someone else carelessly and then gets knocked out a second later.. lots of other rides going on that i'm scratching my head at, check out 1:01 also
