- On March 6th, 2002, Sheryl Crow filmed a concert for TV benefiting Breast Cancer Awareness (it aired later that year). She invited the Queen of Rock N Roll (Stevie Nicks, of course!) to perform with her on a few songs.

At the end of "Midnight Rider," you can see Stevie mouthing to Sheryl, "I think we should do..." suggesting that she wasn't happy with the performance. So, they re-recorded "The Difficult Kind" and "Midnight Rider" (Stevie missed a cue during one chorus on this second try and looked adorable when she realized it), and then part of "The Difficult Kind" for a third time (they missed a verse -- and needed to re-record it).
These are rare performances -- so enjoy!

Who wouldn't try to be their strongest for these amazing women? My advice, as an older guy these days, to the young men, is (a) keep up your grades; (b) don't get arrested; (c) take care of your teeth; and (d) whatever else you do, honor and respect the women, all of them, stand up and honor and respect and love them. Not convinced,? Watch these two women for a while., if you can't respect and honor them, just head on down the road, you ain't no real man, not in my book.

I admire both of these women very much. Stevie, though, had me hooked since I was a kid and onward. And she still performs so well on stage today.

Almost identical to the studio version from trouble in shangrila. They sound so good together Stevie's deeper voice still worked well here.the song woulda been a bigger hit 25 years ago. Album sold well though despite lack of radio airplay.stevies always had a huge cult following

A few days ago I heard "Strong Enough" on the radio and thought it sounded like a young Dolly Parton. Finally found it and realized it was Sheryl Crow! I was so surprised and now I see she sang this song with Stevie Nicks, another of my favorite musicians of all time!

Stevie Nicks only 2nd to Linda Rondstadt for me because Linda could melt my heart what I felt, while I loved Stevie Nicks as a far off special dessert dream even thought I listened to both equally. Stevie's Landslide is very special. both are brilliant people. Cheryl is seemingly a natural.

This sounds AMAZING!! Its 2020 and I still love them! I was at Stevie's Trouble In Shrangri-la Tour In Hartford, CT in 2001 and Sheryl was with her. Never forget this one.

first heard Sorcerer as a single on FL radio, Stevie Nicks had written it & given it to Marylin Martin who sung the song with a slightly darker instrumentation & vocal. A few seconds of the song were featured in Michael Perae, Diane Lane, William Defoe movie Streets of Fire I've never been able to find the soundtrack to that movie, Stevie recorded it herself a good number of years later

From two distinctly different eras, but Sheryl is not throwing the old pro a bone.No way. She KNOWS THAT SONG , and is SUPPORTING Nicks,expertly.And Nicks, isn't trying for an upper register that might be trouble-but staying within the lines .Pressure on her too.
