There could be several reasons... Rubber roller in the paper feed tray. Wash! Drum cleaning blade. Sprinkle with toner, talcum powder or baby powder. Plastic photo drum bushings. Try to substitute another one to see if that is the reason.

Minolta 165 e. Toner & developer unit both steel, black screws slipping. Any tips?

If I understand you correctly, the screws that connect the photodrum unit and the developer unit are not fixed?

Try choosing a single-core wire with a small cross-section or something similar. Install into the problem hole before installing the screw. Tighten the screw. Must hold.

Another option... carefully coat the inside of the hole with a small amount of super glue. Wait a few seconds. Then try tightening the screw.

@@rivprint instead coating inside hole, if we coat glue on the screws only.. Which is better option?

Usually I put a drop of glue inside, wait a little and screw it on. But you can apply glue to the screw itself - that’s also not bad) But now I just insert the wire (small cross-section monowire), twist it and bite off the excess. It holds up well, try it!@@anandsurpur8072
