Headbanger's Kitchen ....Your recipes are awesome!...If one was to double or triple the recipe (I have a big coffee mug 😀)...would I add more time to the cooking time? Also, if I cook it in a shallow bowl, I could make big buns for burgers...or does it work best in a cylindrical shaped object?....By the way, I have made your almond flour mug bread many times...it it is great!....Keep up the great work and keep on rockin'.
I used this recipe to make mini pizza and it was so good! Once the bread was done I sliced it into 5 rounds and put sugar free pizza sauce, cheese, spices and pepperoni on it. Under the broiler for a few minutes and it was delicious! I put a small amt of garlic powder in the mix to mask the coconut flavour and it was perfect.
Your recipes are a life saver. I make this bread a lot. Instead of mug if u spread it on a plate u get kind of peta bread which is awesome for pizza base or a roll or swarma whatever u are in a mood for... Thanks for this
After you've cooked the bread in the microwave and sliced it, put the slices into a toaster, and they end up becoming crispy like regular toasted bread! Alternatively you can make grilled sandwiches by toasting your sandwiches in a frying pan. Finally my cravings for bread have been answered with this recipe! I can now enjoy eating burgers and sandwiches without having to skimp on the bread that I was doing before!
I put my mixture in a small casserole dish (about 6 - 7" across) to see if I could make a hamburger bun, and it worked pretty well. It came out to about 3/4 - 1" thick, and I was able to slice it into two pieces. Then I toasted it to add some stiffness and crunch. 👍
I wrote down the recipe can't wait to try it.1 egg, 1/4 tsp baking powder. 2 T coconut flour, 1 T heavy cream, 1/ 4 T of olive oil, mix put in coffee mug tap down. microwave 19 seconds!
Baking instructions: In case anyone out there don’t have a microwave or prefer to not use a microwave I made a 6 biscuit/muffin batch. I mixed up/made up each one in a separate container poured it into each of greased muffin tins. I just wanted to make sure each had the perfect ratio of ingredients and muffin batter. 355 degrees for 30mins
I just started Keto a few days ago and I was desperately craving something bread-like but I’m not too great of a cook so making a whole loaf was intimidating. I made this and it really hit the spot! Thank you! Love all your videos!
Tried this for lunch today. Added garlic and onion powder along with parma cheese to the batter. Sliced and fried in pan with butter then put a slice of smoke salmon on it. Super yummy! Thx for posting this!
High Altitude instructions -I live at 6,000 feet elevation in an extremely dry climate. All ingredients are very dry and boiling point of water here is 203 F. I had to add a couple of tablespoons of almond milk as the dough was so dry. And due to high elevation, I nuked it nearly 3 minutes. It came out perfect! I buttered slices, added veggies and cheese and had myself a very wonderful sandwich. This solves the problem of needing sustenance quickly and avoiding grabbing something quick that is high in carbs. Thank you! This recipe makes keto so much easier.
oh my God dude ....you totally rocked out this recipe.... I cannot make this recipe fast enough before the wife eats it....rockin it with Headbangers Coconut mug bread
bro, love your videos and recipies! Before I started keto, I began each day with a mcdonalds breakfast sandwhich, and that was about the hardest thing to give up. You have given me back my morning pleasure and for that I can't thank you enough! But enough jibber jabber, I have a sandwich to eat😃
I added cinnamon, stevia, vanilla - fried it a little in butter and poured a little sugar free maple syrup on it....ooh sooo yummy - sooo many options to make with the basic recipe! Thanks again for the great recipes
Just started keto and i love it. i haven't really had any insane cravings, but i am always looking to experiment with food. your channel is exactly what i've been looking for. your recipes are simple, and they are super great for hitting macros. 4 net carbs/serving?!?! are you kidding me? that's amazing. great job. i just found this channel and i can't wait to really dig into your older videos too.
OMGOSH!!! Just found this, went straight to the kitchen and OMGOSH!!!! Thank you so much for this recipe!!! My daughter had to try a piece with mayo, then we both ate a piece with some egg salad I made earlier..LOL I got plans for this bread!!!
Made this as part of my breakfast ..AT Work! I got there early-not on co. Time. I was in heaven with my "toast". Love your microwave recipes that are work friendly.
Made it, ate it, loved it, and subbed. 💜💜 Didn't have heavy cream but snagged a tbsp of roommate's sour cream and it worked perfectly! Xo from Portland Oregon 🌲🍂🎶🍂🌲
I just subbed! You're amazing!! You have the best recipes of any of the keto youtubers and the almond bread recipe changed my life. I also like that this coconut version uses oil and cream instead of butter, in case I want to change it up! I'm binging all of your recipes now and it's keeping me so motivated to keep going with keto!! Thank you!!!!
I just made this for breakfast and it was super 👌🏾. Slight modification I made, I didn't have coconut flour but I had desiccated coconut. I just combined everything and run in it the blender for about 5minutes until it was a smooth paste.
I just made this. Its very good, and filling. My husband suggested whipping some cream and pureeing some raspberries/strawberries like a scone in a cream tea. Yummy. Love your ideas and recipes.
Thank you for this! It makes perfect sense when you mentioned that coconut flour absorbs more moisture than almond flour bc I just made this and found that out. I tried to make this bread using the same amount of ingredients that the almond flour bread calls for and yea.... my bread came out all crumbly. SUPER EASY! SUPER YUMMY! SUPER AMAZING! Hands down. I love this video and the results of the coconut flour bread based on the visual directions. THANK YOU! You are a lifesaver
I used this recipes to make breadcrumbs for my keto - caesar's salad… it was very delicious, although it looked a bit green from the olive oil before it got brown from toasting :D Thank you so much for sharing all your good stuff.
Made this recipe this morning for breakfast for the first time right before I left to go to work. Didn’t taste it until I got work and it was absolutely delicious and has a great texture. I was so pleased! The only thing I did different was add a drizzle of Lakanto monk fruit maple syrup in the batter for a hint of sweetness, and I didn’t have olive oil so I used ghee. Perfect!
Yesterday, I wanted to eat chapati with my egg curry..... But I had not much time.... So, what I did is poured this batter in a microwave safe plate and spread it as evenly as possible.... U know what! It was deeeelicios!!.... Yum yum... 😋😋😋
I know you have a wife and with all the respect she deserves I could just kiss you for this recipe! It's soft and takes care of my bread cravings. Thanks!
Made the coconut flour bread today. So I wanted to use up my cream cheese and replaced the heavy cream with that. Halfway while mixing I realized that I need to add some liquid as it became too dry so I added milk and then followed the instructions. It came out yum and was finished in minutes. Thank you for the quick bread recipe
Made your coconut 90 second bread in a square container and it came out beautiful. I made a small sandwich with a touch of mayo and a slice of ham folded in half. Ate it with a sour pickle. You're right, it was Delicious! I bet you can add cinnamon, stevia drops and put in in a donut mold and no longer will you want to go to Dunkin Donuts or Krispe Creme Donuts. Thanks for the recipe!!!
Took these to work at ER. My buddies loved them! To one batch, added tsp erythritol and vanilla and blueberries! They don’t even explode in the microwave! Deeeeelicious!
Thank you so much! I am not allergic to nuts but there is something about them... when I eat them they make me want to eat a bag of them that could feed Dumbo and his Flying Circus LOL! I made your previous 90 second bread recipe and it was deeeeeeeeeeelishous. You RULE!
i made something similar but also added some yeast, just for the flavour. i used melted butter instead of oil and cream and i added the yeast to the warm butter. to my surprise the bread rose really high and never "dropped". the yeast added a good flavour to the bread. yum!
I finally got around to trying this today and I'm glad I did. It is delicious. I don't usually like the mug this or that's,, but this is great with no adjustments. I sliced it into three slices, toasted them and added a bit of butter. Wonderful! Next I'll make the loaf version.
Just tried this recipe and it's amazing! Next time I'll try to make a sweet version by adding a little stevia instead of salt and little bit of vanilla, and perhaps a little cinamon. Thank You.
I tried your Coconut Mug Bread recipe. I used Coconut Oil instead of Olive Oil. Only cooked it 1 minute and the bread came out really dry. Loved the flavor though. Spread some butter on the slices and made a Pepperoni and Mozzarella Sammie. Butter helped the dryness. It would be a great 'cornbread' substitute due to the dryness. I will be experimenting more. Thanks for the recipe!
Did you add the heavy whipping cream? That should keep it fairly moist. Maybe try 10 seconds less next time :) see if it works and makes it more moist.
Yes I used heavy whipping cream. I think I may add a ml or two more cream or 1/2 TBSP of coconut oil. I haven't tried it again ... yet. I am not a really big bread eater, but it is nice to have a sammie every once in a while. Again, thanks for the recipe.
I had to take a drink of water watching you bite into that keto coconut slider with no cheese or any sauce LOL. But it looks like a viable alternative and I'm going to try it. Thanks again for all of your videos!
Man, THANK YOU! Just started a Keto diet and am dreading not having bread, but this will fill the void nicely! Subbed and can't wait for more awesome Keto recipes! \m/
THIS bread is SO MUCH BETTER than the one made with almond flour, in my opinion. I did add a tsp of sour cream and a bit of garlic and herb powder! THIS will be my Go To. I made mine in a soup mug and it was a perfect bun size. I also toasted it a bit with some butter in a skillet.
loved this mug cake. it is awesome for when you buy a burger and cant eat the buns just make a quick mug bread and replace the buns with these little sliders! thanks headbanger's kitchen!
Haha. I've been on the keto diet for 3 years. My favorite hobby is cooking. And I like metal music. It's absurd to think that I haven't come across this channel before! Keep up the awesome work!
Just saw your video and recipe today. I was looking for a quick coconut flour bread. I found yours and made it to go with dinner. It was great! Thank you so much! I will definitely check out your other videos! :)
I love your channel!😊 ... Love the recipes, love the music, love the Jibber jabber... And the accent that you started out with in this video is hilarious!!!🤩 Thanks for everything!! ( And yes, I made the bread... I usually do half coconut flour and half almond flour so this will be a nice little change! )
he's the BOMB """:,",,,"":"""""""""",""""""""""""""""","""""""""""""..."""""""",""","",""",:.."",",",""""""",""":""""","",,,""""""""""","""""",""""""",",,",,"",",",",,,,,,",",,,,"":
I am a beginner at keto, and I can say that definitely try this mug bread first before embarking on making a keto loaf bread. The texture and look of this mug bread is similar to a whole wheat bread. Its even better when its toasted! It doesnt have that "eggy" taste. I tasted a normal whole wheat bread and this bread simultaenously, and while the wheat bread has a very yeasty flavour, this mug bread has a coconuty flavour. So, I would say this mug bread doesn't taste like bread, but the look, texture, and "feel" in your mouth is like that of a whole wheat bread. I added some cinnamon powder and truvia into mine, so mine kinda tasted like a cake than a bread, but it was equally delicious, and when toasted, the sweet taste lessened.
Thanks you so much for this delicious recipe, I have been missing bread so much this week and realy wanting a grilled cheese sandwiche. Right after watching this video I went straight to my kitchen and whipped this up, an made two of the cutest little grilled cheeses, so so good they have a really great texture like a good corn bread. Thank you thank you thank you.
Tried the bread...amazing...I advice to add herbs and spices...I add pepper, salt to mine plus some herbs and amazing...even more tasty and with some butter taste delicious
Love this version as my daughter is allergic to nuts and most keto recipes use almond. Please incorporate more of this. Following you now hope you continue doing more things with coconut flour
I just made this bread and it was easy and totally delicious! I sliced and toasted it. I can't wait to try some of these other keto recipes. Thank you!
I have to do mine in a small casserole type dish, because in the mug, even after 2 1/2 mins, it was like a molten core of batter. So this gave me the idea of spreading the batter out on a plate (I haven't tried it out yet) but thought if I spread it out on a plate or piece of parchment, it could stand in for pizza crust, since cauli-crust can be a bit of a production. What I have done, because this bread reminded me of cornbread, is to add some or all: parmesan cheese, small diced jalapeno, and small pieces of cooked bacon. Small amounts, in the teaspoon - tablespoon range, as desired. Thanks HB, this is turning out to be a good, flexible base batter!
I love your recipes. Can you also do some more recipes that are vegetarian and don't require microwave/oven. I love how you simplify everything and make it really easy to follow. Thank you!
I made this today after I had failed at making anything resembling a dosa with coconut flour. However, the bread turned out great. Need to buy almond flour and try your dosa receipe again.
this guy is the most interesting person on YT... an Indian Metal head thats a Keto chef... that's pretty metal
thank you so much :)
Jimmy's Journal good comment...!! :)
Eh, I wouldn't say the most interesting. I am subbed though.
He's so informative and amusing in his own kitchen.. chitter-chatter.

I don't know what 30g is...how do I measure it.
If you don't have scales then one tablespoon is roughly 15 gm, so you 2 level tablespoons.
Can I put the bread in my sandwich grilling machine!!?
I put my mixture in a small casserole dish (about 6 - 7" across) to see if I could make a hamburger bun, and it worked pretty well. It came out to about 3/4 - 1" thick, and I was able to slice it into two pieces. Then I toasted it to add some stiffness and crunch. 👍
Does it taste like eggs at all? I really hate eggs that’s why I’m asking.
I wrote down the recipe can't wait to try it.1 egg, 1/4 tsp baking powder. 2 T coconut flour, 1 T heavy cream, 1/ 4 T of olive oil, mix put in coffee mug tap down. microwave 19 seconds!
Laura, all my new recipes have the written version in the description box below the video.
Laura C 90 seconds...lol, at 19 seconds you'll be drinking coconut eggnog :)
Laura C 1 T olive oil. I think that he said 1full tablespoon of olive oil so I can see why you thought it was 1/4 T.
Laura C thanks!!
@TheLawDemon
One reason is because the site where he has the recipes allows you to print them.

Jafar Calley it toasted really nicely...and buttered up really nice

Headbanger's Kitchen ...we just stepped up your coconut mug bread to a parmesan crusted grilled cheese....OH....MY....WORD....LOL

Coconut flour is so much cheaper than almond flour
Too much sugar
Lower calories too
What about using walnuts for the flour? I have a few lbs in my freezer I want to get used.
Almonds are high in oxalates, coconut flour is low oxalate.
@@deskjockie4948 Which is the good one? High or low?
Great recipe! I made mine in a small dish and topped it with EVERYTHING BAGEL topping, then pan fried it in butter for avocado toast!
I added cinnamon, stevia, vanilla - fried it a little in butter and poured a little sugar free maple syrup on it....ooh sooo yummy - sooo many options to make with the basic recipe! Thanks again for the great recipes
Exactly what I’m gonna do.

Thank you for considering my request and making the bread with Coconut flour...I will try this today :-)
I made this right away. Toasted it with some cream cheese! Ooooh so good. You are a life saver!
Headbanger’s Kitchen, just made this, and I was NOT disappointed! Absolutely delicious, I now have a new quick fresh snacky, Thank you so much!!🙌🏼😋
Is it wrong to eat the whole thing in one go?
OMGOSH!!! Just found this, went straight to the kitchen and OMGOSH!!!! Thank you so much for this recipe!!! My daughter had to try a piece with mayo, then we both ate a piece with some egg salad I made earlier..LOL I got plans for this bread!!!
I found this completely by accident and I'm glad I did. First sandwich I've had in a while that I haven't felt guilty about. Ngl, I'm pretty excited.
Just made it and it was awesome! Substituted a bit of coconut flour for ground chia and added a pinch of Himalayan salt and baking soda.
Made this as part of my breakfast ..AT Work! I got there early-not on co. Time. I was in heaven with my "toast". Love your microwave recipes that are work friendly.
Made it, ate it, loved it, and subbed. 💜💜

Channel is awesome dude! Good to see other people not only into Metal, but Keto and being healthy.
Keto almond bread was the first keto food I ever made thanks to headbangers kitchen !.. I'll be trying the coconut bread next 😃👍
I just made this for breakfast and it was super 👌🏾. Slight modification I made, I didn't have coconut flour but I had desiccated coconut. I just combined everything and run in it the blender for about 5minutes until it was a smooth paste.
I've tried this and it was ..So delicious.. thank you ❤
Just made this using coconut oil instead, AMAZING, very delicious, had tuna w/Hellman's mayo and 2 pickle slice, awesome!
I just made this. Its very good, and filling. My husband suggested whipping some cream and pureeing some raspberries/strawberries like a scone in a cream tea. Yummy. Love your ideas and recipes.
Thank you for taking the time to provide me with this alternative to almond flour. I'm gonna try it tomorrow! Thanks!
This is by far the fastest, easiest and tastiest ‘bread’ I’ve had since starting Keto. Thanks Sahil!
Thank you for this! It makes perfect sense when you mentioned that coconut flour absorbs more moisture than almond flour bc I just made this and found that out. I tried to make this bread using the same amount of ingredients that the almond flour bread calls for and yea.... my bread came out all crumbly. But thanks to this video I will not be making that mistake again.
Thank you!! ♥️
Your channel is the ultimate!
Thank you!
SUPER EASY! SUPER YUMMY! SUPER AMAZING! Hands down. I love this video and the results of the coconut flour bread based on the visual directions. THANK YOU! You are a lifesaver
Text recipe is below as well in the video description box.
Headbanger's Kitchen I have made this 3 times since Saturday....since I found this video. Turned out perfectly every time.
I used this recipes to make breadcrumbs for my keto - caesar's salad… it was very delicious, although it looked a bit green from the olive oil before it got brown from toasting :D Thank you so much for sharing all your good stuff.
I love this recipe so much!! Thanks for doing what you do! BTW, we used full fat coconut milk in lieu of heavy cream, turned out fine. 😉
yep, it should, that's mainly to add some moisture to the recipe since coconut flour soaks up liquid
Perfect!

Made the coconut flour bread today. So I wanted to use up my cream cheese and replaced the heavy cream with that. Halfway while mixing I realized that I need to add some liquid as it became too dry so I added milk and then followed the instructions. It came out yum and was finished in minutes. Took these to work at ER. My buddies loved them! To one batch, added tsp erythritol and vanilla and blueberries! They don’t even explode in the microwave! Deeeeelicious!
This original recipe has become a staple & I just made an altered version as a dessert, thanks for sharing!
Thank you so much! I am not allergic to nuts but there is something about them... when I eat them they make me want to eat a bag of them that could feed Dumbo and his Flying Circus LOL! I made your previous 90 second bread recipe and it was deeeeeeeeeeelishous. You RULE!

I finally got around to trying this today and I'm glad I did. It is delicious. I don't usually like the mug this or that's,, but this is great with no adjustments. I sliced it into three slices, toasted them and added a bit of butter. Wonderful!
Next I'll make the loaf version.
This bread is life for me! Soooo good! I love your channel. Thank you so much for sharing your passion and knowledge with us.
Just tried this recipe and it's amazing! Next time I'll try to make a sweet version by adding a little stevia instead of salt and little bit of vanilla, and perhaps a little cinamon. Thank You.
I keep coming back to this recipe time and time again... love it!
This is genius. Genius, I tell you! Easy and I finally have an alternative to lettuce for a burger.
Man, I am so stoked to find your channel! So much good keto recipes and a fellow metalhead as well! Awesome channel! \m/

I had to take a drink of water watching you bite into that keto coconut slider with no cheese or any sauce LOL. But it looks like a viable alternative and I'm going to try it. Thanks again for all of your videos!
haha trust me it was moist!! the resting juices of the meat and the moist bread itself.
this keto business had me in the first half but this has changed the game
Made it two times already... I didn’t have cream so added 1tsp psyllium husk.... Loved it... Thanks a lot
I tried this one today, life changer!!! Thank you so much.
Making this tonight... thank you...coconut flour is all I have
Wow thank you for a speedy reply!!! I will try that for sure.. love this channel!

Very good, I used coconut oil instead and milk instead of cream.turned out great and came out of mug easily, TY!
I just used this for a sausage breakfast sandwich. It completely fixed my craving for savory sandwiches!
Man, THANK YOU! Just started a Keto diet and am dreading not having bread, but this will fill the void nicely! Subbed and can't wait for more awesome Keto recipes!

That looks awesome, and so practical and easy to make. I need to start doing some experiments with them.

Wow, this recipe for keto bread is the best! Thank you 🤘
I am a beginner at keto, and I can say that definitely try this mug bread first before embarking on making a keto loaf bread.
This bread saved me! So awesome, subbed + buying your music to support!
Am so grateful. Thank you very much.
Thankyou soo much for this amazing recipe!!
Thank you thank you thank you.
glad to hear that.
Thanks for sharing this. Love it! Horns up!
Cannot wait to try
Thanks HB, this is turning out to be a good, flexible base batter!
yeah totally!! :)
afringedweller Have you tried it yet as pizza crust?
I love your recipes. Can you also do some more recipes that are vegetarian and don't require microwave/oven. I love how you simplify everything and make it really easy to follow. Thank you!
"Let me stay with the moment" Ha! This guy is fricking brilliant! 🤓
Just made them... came out amazing! Thank you!
I made this today after I had failed at making anything resembling a dosa with coconut flour. However, the bread turned out great. Need to buy almond flour and try your dosa receipe again.
