  • Hey there, my favorite stacks of pixels. Here we go with another compilation of most of the work I've created through 2023.
    It's that time of the year again when I'm going through a short overview of the previous year and all I can say, 2023 was probably the busiest year so far, therefore I havent really created more pieces, but this year has certainly been the most impactful in terms of dreams, bucket-list items and life goals achieved, and I can't believe I just got into my 30s.
    As always, I'm not sharing any work from commissions and related projects even though most of my work this year has actually been commissions and science projects, that are waiting for their papers to be released.
    I'm very grateful to my Patrons, NFT collectors, and people who have bought my merch and supported my work with any other means as well as, everyone who has been with me all these years - I love you guys, and I wouldn't have gotten this far without your help and love!
    This year has been very eventful and full of achieved dreams, Here is a brief overview of 2023:
    - For the first time ever in my life and in the last 10 years of nonstop grind had my first actual vacation
    - Began the year working on schizophrenia research currently going through trials. More info when the papers get released
    -Saw my work going to museums, and exhibitions all over. Saw my work at an NFT convention at Dubai, saw my entities hanging around Entheon (COSM) and ended up at the Historical Museum of Bern (replication of Hofmann's first bike ride)
    -Not a big deal, but Yoga now is a daily habit and im more than grateful that i forced myself to keep at it.
    - Learned everything I need in terms of 3D modeling/animation and now Im able to create whatever I imagine, with time and effort of course, but if its in my memory, it can be made real.
    - Learned audio production to a degree I can almost create anything I can imagine.
    - Started working with psychedelic scientists on actual psychedelic studies (More details when the papers come out)
    - Performing at more psychedelic events and festivals now, like MoDem, Shankra, Odyssee and more
    - Built first working examples of Psychedelic Cryptography. VICE article here - www.vice.com/e...
    - First Ayahuasca experiences and first toad experiences and on par, first-ever time in my life leaving the EU borders
    - Lost 99% of my work hosted online so time to rebuild
    - More started projects related to actual psychedelic research. Will share more about them this year.
    Even though this has been my most intense year so far in terms of workloads and projects, I am, as always, very grateful to be able to keep this thing going somehow and am still here and alive and it wouldnt be possible without all of you.
    Thank you for another amazing year!
    More places where you can find me, my merch, support my work, get in closer touch etc. - symmetric-vision.xyz/links
    Have a nice and highly productive 2024 full of happy little accidents!

    The quality of your work goes without saying, because it’s ineffable.. but man the QUANTITY you manage to pump out is equally impressive. The hard work pays off, these are incredible!

      Wow, thank you. I actually thought this year was the worst so far in terms of quantity, since more than half of my productive time was working on other projects. Maybe I jsut dont notice it that much because its all in the flow state :D

    Hi boss, I was wondering how often you take psychedelics?

    • @SymmetricVision
      @SymmetricVision  8 месяцев назад +6

      Hi! To be honest not so much anymore. Especially in last 2 years due to heavy workloads trying to keep myself alive. I havent had 150ug+ experience in like 3 years. Now i can say its roughly once per 3-5 months. The quality of generated insight depends more on HOW you trip than HOW MUCH you trip :)

      @Seamlesscq 8 месяцев назад

      @@SymmetricVision where do I find the links to the gumroad page? Found the tutorial and it was very informative. How do you get in such depth with 3d shapes and sound design? Inspiring work man. I strive to achieve it but lack information on steps to get results.

    • @SymmetricVision
      @SymmetricVision  8 месяцев назад +2

      Because i draw, make, model everything myself from scratch, with only intention being accuracy. There are no steps, at least for me, I just spend ridiculous amounts of time exploring, every single time. The closest steps you will get are in the tutorial, and I havent followed anything i do there for at least 2-3 years. Sound design - I am literally jsut learning this, same, never used any other tutorial besides the onest that teach the UI of the software. I am in process of making the next tutorial and now thanks to you i am feeling like i should add sound design to it as well. I am a very busy human and it might take me some time though.@@Seamlesscq

    Where could I learn more about the work you do professionally? Thank you so much for creating quality psychedelic community!

    • @SymmetricVision
      @SymmetricVision  8 месяцев назад +1

      Oh making these videos, doing Projection mapping performances and everything that stems out of "replicating altered states in video form" is my profession. Im in the state of doing every gig I can to keep myself alive so it's really hard to pinpoint an exact profession, since im a full blown generalist.
      In terms of scientific work, I will publish everything and notify everyone once the papers roll out. Let me know if you had something specific in mind and I could maybe share some more information.
      Before giving all my life to this art, Ive been software developer, robotics engineer, UI designer, IT support and much more. This is really tricky question for me to answer :D

    • @jedrekpawlowski9645
      @jedrekpawlowski9645 8 месяцев назад

      @@SymmetricVision thats basically what I wanted to know, thanks for the quick reply. I have been following you since my first interest in psychedelics sparked up 3 years ago or so. Now I am studying chemistry and enjoying it, tbh it also is quite a generalist field; you learn some about physics, math, biology and IT tools for science. I hope I could work in psychedelic/altered states of conciousness type subject in the future. That's why I am trying to be up to date with everything this field related. You are an inspiration for me, interesting background you have. It seems like digital skills like video/audio/programming are a must have to do novel science or creative work.
      Maybe you would have some advice for a 18 year old hoping to develop as much as possible? Looking forward to the scientific papers of yours!

    • @SymmetricVision
      @SymmetricVision  8 месяцев назад +1

      Thank you so much for sharing this. Oh boy I do have a lot of advice and probably could write books about it, but I will write some short points I wish I knew when I was starting this and some points that ive seen to become true and older successful people have told me.@@jedrekpawlowski9645
      - Follow your interest, curiousity, no matter what
      - Dont be obsessed with figuring out your entire life at 18. I was suggested and will suggest this - Until your lte 20s experiment, explore, do as many things as you can, especially if you have interest in psychedelic field, then explore everythign you can that you feel like could help. For most people i know and myself, the brai nstarts to pull together your knowledge at some late 20s and i feel like Its important to have as many experiences as possible because you will have more perspectives/tools to work with once the brain goes into "building life" mode. Im so happy i spent my 20s grinding, not at a job, but at my craft and I didnt party and waste my energy. Everythign you build leaves a trace, adn that trace can bring people to you.
      - If you have "the vision", chase it no matter what, especially if its something "new and works". People will tell you that its pointless, but let me tell you - everything thats truly new will seem pointless to peopel who have never done anythign new. It just hasnt been proven yet, doesnt make it impossible.
      - Practice makes perfect, so be careful what you practice. You are practicing something all the time. Even now, youre practicing reading. So if you spend your time exploring your skills you will get better at it, same goes to scrolling content, watching TV, jerking off, getting shitfaced and other ways that people tend to waste their time.
      - Follow the intuition and if you feel like its really hard to do so and you might harm someone following the intuition ask yourself - "Is this directly harming anyone in any way?" if its not, follow it no matter what.
      - In a nutshell, it seems that the answer to most big question in the Universe for me is - DO YOUR SHIT. No matter what, if you feel the pull, give everything to it. I am so happy i did.
      This is just an intro and again, i dont know anything, its jsut what has helped me on the way :)
