Invasive Species: Virtual Workshop

At our Earth Day event, WMG's Restoration Director, Trevor Hare, gave the scoop on some common invasive plants that you can help remove and pointed out some common native annuals that should be left in our yards to increase biodiversity. As individuals, when we remove invasive plants from our yards and streets, we reduce the chance of these plants spreading into our riparian areas and other green spaces. Learn how to identify these species and remove them from your local area!
