"Conservative author Jordan Peterson was suspended from his Twitter account over a tweet saying actor Elliot Page, previously Ellen Page, had his breasts removed by a “criminal physician.”
“Remember when pride was a sin? And Ellen Page just had her breasts removed by a criminal physician,” Peterson wrote in the offending tweet last week.
Peterson’s daughter, Mikhaila Peterson, tweeted about the suspension this week and roped potential future Twitter owner Elon Musk into the mix.
“Wow. @jordanbpeterson got a twitter strike. No more twitter until he deletes the tweet. Definitely not a free speech platform at the moment @elonmusk,” she tweeted, adding screenshots of her father’s tweet as well as the notice informing him he had violated the platform’s rules against “hateful conduct.”"

The doctor in this instance -if you watch a lot of what he says and his explanation must be considered and reasoned with, to have an opinion and broadcast it here, not doing so is wrong. It’s weird to me how conservatives in this country are so oddly concerned with people’s genitals and what consenting adults do in the bedroom…if someone tells me they’re gay, I’m not thinking about them having sex. If someone tells me they’re lesbians I’m not thinking about them having sex. If someone tells me they’re trans, I’m not thinking about their genitals. If your reaction to someone being gay or trans or lesbian is immediately sex or their genitals, something’s wrong with you.

Paterson's tweet is a problem, because he called the Physician ''criminal'' --- It isn't, Elliot Page is Canadian, the Surgeon is Canadian and whatever he, you or I think about this gender change, Canadian Law doesn't make that mastectomy a crime, hence Paterson's tweet is nothing else than defamation.

That said, Peterson is well aware that medical Doctors must have proper academic credentials and be part of a professional order in order to practice medicine in Canada, thus his ''opinion'' as to a criminal behaviour is a big deal here. He might end-up getting sued for defamation by that Surgeon and that would cost him quite a lot of money. Surgeons have even higher academic credentials than regular MD as it is a specialty. I don't encourage people to have body parts cut-off or change gender, but it's none of my business and Elliot Page is an adult. He gave his consent and I think that such surgery requires a written, psychological evaluation to be presented to the hospital/Surgeon and that's the end of any criminal conversation as far as Canadian Law is concerned.

And it’s not even like he focused on the actual body parts, it was so clear that the aspect of this which bothered him was how young women are vulnerable to seeing transitioning as the solution to all their problems. Which clearly is an issue. I know
“Social contagion” is another term TYT likely hates, but anorexia spreads among friend groups of depressed teenage girls the same way gender dysphoria does. You can’t keep anorexic teen girls in the same wards in hospitals cause they encourage each other’s anorexia. There isn’t any massive increase in middle aged or elderly women seeking out transitions, which WOULD be happening if there really were tons and tons of trans people out there who had formerly been afraid to transition because of stigma. The issue is that when there is a friend group of 8 teenage girls, and two of them come out as trans, the likelihood of other girls in that friend group coming out as trans, even when they had never hinted at geNder dysphoria before, can be like 4000% higher than the likelihood of other girls of the same age, social status, class etc. rapid onset gender dysphoria is a thing. The main gender clinic in England recently closed cause of their previous 19 000 teenage girls who transitioned, now 1000 of them are sueing. If 1/19 teenage girls who transitioned are now sueing then the promotion of the extremely invasive, brutalizing, sterilizing hormones and surgeries is not a harmless phenomenon. So no, he isn’t obsessed with Elliot pages genitals, and I didn’t even know breasts were genitals? He didn’t focus on her breasts, the point he made was entirely about the ethics of extremely wealthy, successful, powerful Hollywood stars promoting extremely invasive surgeries and hormone regimes which have extremely high rates of complication and haven’t been shown to have any significant impact on the persons wellbeing or mental health. Most teenage girls who start hormone regimes experience a short lived period of relief, as both teenage girls and adult men who inject testosterone notice that it decreases depression and anxiety while increasing their motivation and vigour. But like all regimes of injectable drugs, those benefits decrease over time while the negative consequences grow. And it’s often in this period of testosterone bliss that they follow through with surgeries. Unfortunately, many

In the world, flipping my dick inside out would destroy most of my ability to feel sexual pleasure. I would never have a clit. Never get my period, never carry a baby to term, and for me like for most that consider transition, I wanted it ALL. I had to make peace with the fact that until the genetic editing tech exists to render full, XY to XX chromosomal sex change, AND to do so in a way that cancels out the changes my body already went through during male puberty, the best I could hope for was a lifetime of surgeries, pain, drug regimes, severely impacting my health , and all for a result where I myself would never be the woman I wanted to be.
And I’m so grateful that I was never encouraged to go down that road.
With some things in life it isn’t about what you want, it’s about accepting what is now and what is possible in the future. The kind of transition that gender dysphoric people want is far from being a medical possibility. And the way that gender clinics have reported a masssive, exponential growth in almost exclusively teenage girls seeking transition, and these girls almost always are in friend groups where the idea of transition being what they need to be happy has manifested in almost exactly the same pattern that anorexia and the idea of skinniness being what teen girls see as their path to happiness…. It IS cause for concern. For fucks sake TYT, you’re mocking this man Peterson because he’s broken out in tears in interviews, about something which 1/19 of the UKs biggest gender clinic are now sueing over because they feel they were encouraged to cut body parts off or be permanently sterilized when all the signs of rapid onset gender dysphoria as social contagion were obvious.
You’re not the compassionate ones TYT. And you’re not the ones with facts and science on your side. The “creep” who marries his highschool sweetheart, the “creep” who has been loyal to one woman for 50+ years, who is crying because of what the science is revealing, that’s the compassionate one.

It's a word that comes from "Genus" it's generally used to describe masculine and feminine words. It wasn't until about 5 seconds ago (figuratively) that gender because the catch phrase word for LGBTQ+IA.
Further, creating a phrase does provide legitimacy to an argument. Just because people want to re-define the word gender doesn't mean that now the new definition is correct. There are 2 sexes. Man and woman. There are 2 genders, masculine and feminine.
