There usually is a police zombie with the armory key walking about especially in the early days it shouldnt wander far. and prior to build 42 you are able to select the armory door for deconstruction and what not just needed high skill to do it

Apparently sometimes the key is in the door of the car could be any if u lock the door then unlock n check your inventory you could pick the key up doing that 😊

I just started build 42 as well. I have some weird glitches going on, but so far I am enjoying it. I can appreciate the realism for crafting, but so much stuff for the RNG and they got rid of lucky for a trait...took me forever to find weapons or things for crafting weapons. Perhaps just me because I am just unlucky with RNG normally lol.

Just going to add my strat is to find a car and move out to a country house asap and then just pop back to the urban areas to get things every day or so. I found a great set of 3 houses near the river to the west of West Point that I like to base at.

@insym Magic Wesley's made a new update to his pack on lethal new moons and interiors, I would love to see go back to lethal with the pro team there are eggs and interactable things at the start of the journey. enjoy the madness and eggs

There's a mod out called 'The week before' which has you in society before the outbreak, as well as also experiencing the outbreak.
