- My rendition of the Swat Kats theme songs, Season 2 first, then 1...because I like it that way. Arguably one of the most hype-inducing sets of opening themes ever created! They don't do cartoon themes like they did in the 90s anymore, sadly.
I've rercorded this cover (14 years later!) and totally remixed it.

funny thing is SWAT Kats took a lot of animation cues from japanese anime. In fact they outsourced the animation for season 2 which is why it's more pronounced there.

Dude made the one for X-men as well.
They just knew, the key to making a show memorable, even if it sucked, was having a kickass theme song.

Dude.... freaking awesome. This is basically a clean version of both themes without the overwhelmingly loud SFX blaring out the awesome guitar riffs. Thanks so much for making this.

I dunno; I feel like the sound effect of the Turbokat powering up to blast off really enhances the overall experience. I understand the appeal of a clean version, though, of course.

Same here. But personally, and I feel so stupid because of this, I didn't hear much of a different between season one intro and season two intro. But yeah, the swat kats are my childhood heros.

F**K MAN. Favourite cartoon ever, and this fully just modernises what was a barely aging theme song set - you took the 90s edge of these and made them even more beautiful than they were before. HNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNGH. THERE IS NOT ENOUGH LIKE BUTTON. All I can say is I wish the Season 1 theme was a touch longer.

Going Season 2 first was a pretty solid choice if you ask me. You could practically make an AMV with this, with the S2 segment being them battling some huge monstrosity, and then S1 kicking in when they finish it off.

@@GladDestronger They finally made a new announcement after two years last july and it was all the same shit they told us three years ago. They couldn't even get Netflix to give them the greenlight, or Hulu. They failed. It's over, the business world doesn't give two shits about swatkats or they lied to us to make a shit load of money and sent us artwork swag in order so they can't be sued.

I wished other of my childhood cartoon favourites from the 90s like Biker Mice From Mars, Space Cats, Creepy Crawlers, Super Dave, Hammerman, The Adventure of Hyperman, Blazing Dragons, Cowboys of Moo Mesa, The Addams Family, Albert the Fifth Muskeeter, Santo Bugito, Iznogoud, Walter Melon,and captain simian and the space monkeys were finally released onto complete DVD at last just like Swat Kats.

If the swat kats reboot does happen. This theme song and the season one theme song should be kept. It would make it a lot better if Doom composer Mick Gordon re-record both theme songs. He did a dope soundtrack for Doom and why not him for Swat Kats.

This is pretty much how i always hummed the 2. I'm glad I'm not the only one that felt that Season 2'a theme always felt like an for the the first season's theme.
