Need thin your paint more or change to a point 4 or 5 needle n nozzle in your airbrush for the thicker paint at a higher psi to stop that paint splatter! Good tip is when your blowing back your airbrush or pulling needle back when tip dries always spray off the items first to get the loose paint out white always does it no matter what only the primers in white don't splatter! I'm a professional modeller for shows museums etc so anything your not sure about hit me up! Be it airbrush or compressor issue's etc

Be really cool to see some dark blues along with some purples like they made them back in the day on the Max's. I had quite a few pairs of the original first runs and they had purple in some and blue in some but not alot . Cool work bro

I noticed that when I use tape to paint, the paint sometimes comers off with the tape and it creates a little problem. and makes it look a little rough on the edges.any advice? I would go with not taping it but I'm afraid to get paint on the parts I don't want to paint.

I DON'T DO SHOES BUT I DO USE THE ANGELUS LEATHER PAINT ON OTHER THINGS. THE FIRST THING I DO IS CLEAN THE LEATHER WITH A SPECIAL CLEANER THAT ANGELUS SELLS. SECOND, I USE A DE-GLAZER. THIRD, I PAINT THE SHOE WITH THE PAINT , STRAIGHT OUT THE BOTTLE YOU DON'T HAVE TO ADD ANYTHING TO THE PAINT. THIRD, I SEAL THE PAINT WITH A SEALER THAT ANGELUS SELLS SPECIFICALLY TO SEAL THE LEATHER PAINT. THEN YOU LET IT DRY FOR ABOUT A WEEK SO THE PAINT CAN ADHERE TO THE LEATHER.
