But with hundreds of people around in those public places, nobody would really pay attention or recognize random women with mask as holomems (unless they stand out too much or blurting stuff loudly like banchou). So in theory it should still be pretty unlikely for holomems to get recognized in public. There are definitely 100% cases where people actually recognize them tho, but they respectfully kept their silence, or even if they interact a bit, that interaction wouldn't be mentioned on stream. Although Kiara openly talked on stream about times she was recognized in public, and how it's okay to say hi to her if we see her in public, but she's probably just unique that way. Japanese people are probably much more private on average.
