In these divisive times, we need a message that everyone can get behind, like “tacos are for every day”. Just gonna take a moment to admire the structural integrity of those shells. How did they make them so they could hold in all that filling? I wish I could hold it together that well, but I tear up watching Pixar movies 😢. You did great too, keeping your cool in the face of all that food. Wasn’t expecting 3 times 2lb to add up to at least 9lb, but math is full of surprises. Great job taking it all down, and congratulations on the win!! 🎉
the true test of a food star is their ability to make the challenge about the food and not themselves. i congratulate you, eli, for doing just that. would not surprise me if you hit a half-million before too long. you have a humble approach, are very respectful of the restaurants and people who make the food, and have a soothing, low key voice that makes watching a pleasure. bravo, eli 😊

Thank you and I do, I typically won't eat solid food the day before and I usually won't eat much or anything the day following a challenge unless I am doing a few in a row.
