- This time I'm covering a classic track that dropped during the Summer of '83 - Shannon - Let The Music Play. Although Chris Barbosa used a Roland CR-8000 for the 808 sounds, I couldn't resist covering this fun song. I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I enjoyed making it!

It’s funny how music takes you straight back to a particular place and time. For me, this takes me back to the “RollerDrome” on Friday night where my friends and I used to scheme on the girls while roller skating around and around in circles. Truth be told, I always wanted to be as cool as the guy in the middle of the floor wearing the referee’s shirt, twirling a whistle while he skated!!

Thanks, Ren! Those are filter sweep sound effects I created on my synths and recorded them into a sampler so I can trigger them during the song from the iPad.
