The main problem with the country, is that travelling as a tourist is really hard. I don´t know if they welcome visitors. Visa procedures are endless and tiring.
Looks way too over the top, especially for a country that will is a little out of the way and not so appealing in an area that is not any more appealing either. Besides why would a tourist go there and get jailed for saying the wrong thing?? There's lots of cool and well constructed places on earth to go where you can loosen up, go crazy, and be yourself without being prosecuted for it. Why would someone end up in Turkmenistan??? But the people seem cool and the culture appealing though.
