totally agree with your choice for Wrath. The surrounding choices (i.e. razor, shave soap/cream, brush - for the lather, prep etc.) when you use a Feather blade is very important to get right and to think about too. Nice one Kevvy!
I think you would also enjoy Q Brothers Shaving located alongside of the Merz Apothecary in Lincoln Square of Chicago. I preferred it to Pasteur’s. I envy your access to shaving shops. In the US we are limited to mostly internet suppliers and trying to visit someplace while on vacation a thousand miles from home.
Awesome video Kevy. USE THAT BEAUTIFUL STRAIGHT RAZOR. Lol. It's a gorgeous blade. I completely agree with your sin of gluttony. I absolutely love RazoRock XXX. Can't seem to get enough of it. Cheers my friend.
Nice one Kevy. I'll take a biscuit on the left! Close Dundee match against Celtic last Sat. I own over 15 Somerset and Isle of Man Simpsons and might unload a few. To be honest, I am after the best possible prep and shave and reach for products that get me there. Boars but especially the new Tuxedo knots. I reach for them more than the Simpson Super, two-bands, and Manchurians because they simply produce a superior all around prep.
Cheers Stuart. Bourbon or custard cream?! The synthetic knots being made just now are brilliant. I still enjoy using badger and boar brushes too. All the best mate. Kevy :)
The Feather blade Kev is best in a Feather AS-D2 razor and a close second is the Rapira LUX blade. Cannot get Caties Bubbles out here in Australia or at least the patchouli one there are some scents but at $126 per jar out of my reach. I have a lot of straight razors too but like you the honing as you say takes the pleasure out of it. (ex pat Sassenach)
Nice one Kevy - I think I'm going to have to order a couple of those soaps you have. Especially that C.B. La Terre Verte. This is the first I've actually heard of this one and it sounds amazing. Thanks Kevy,
Thanks for sharing, Kevy. If you could only use one set of "tools" (razor, blade, brush, soap, etc.), what would they be and would you do a video feature those products?
Kevy I am proud to say I have a old spice shave soap and mug there is not much smell left but it still works great. I had to try it once Great topic really enjoyed it Cheers to you
I am seeing a pattern, with those expensive brushes, among you guys. It appears after a period of fascination with razors; the accessories become the "hot ticket Item(s)".
I'll be working on this one soon. Have a few videos in the que. I really liked what you had to say very interesting indeed and now I have to think hard about what i'm going to say.
I guess you envy me! Im born and raised in south Jersey and never been to Pastors Pharmacy!! Crazy right?! I’ve only been WetShaving for a year and haven’t been to NY in a hot min. But next time I go I’ll definitely make time to make a quick pit-stop. Also make sure I go on payday 💰 💵
I envy people in foreign countries who get to buy wet shaving products in supermarkets unlike American supermarkets that have a few or no wet shaving products people can buy there
Every country has different shaving stuff. You guys can get some things we can't get over here, like aftershave splashes. I still can't believe that Nivea aren't selling the 2 phase splash in the US yet. Strange. Kevy :)
Was looking at vintage old spice soap and mug on eBay too, one went yesterday for 35 quid. Too steep for me. Would have went to 20. Will keep looking 👍
Kevin my friend's been a long time. I haven't been watching any of your video for so long since I've been in to fragrances for the last few months it's good to see you again my friend I hope all is well
"You put the lime in the coconut, and drink 'em bot' up." - Harry Nilsson #BellyAche I also have a love/hate relationship with Feather blades...mostly hate. Corking them does seem to tame the edge. ;) Thanks for sharing the video!
Lol! 😂 I've heard about corking them but never tried it. Why can't they just be smooth straight out the wrapper? Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment. Cheers. Kevy 😀
Born and lined in Watson Street then around 6 moved to Menzieshill Lived there on and off for next 24 years got married to my wife in 1984 also from Menzieshill We moved to Australia in 1989 still loving it here Wish I had kept my DE razors from years ago. I'll need to try one of those blades in that razor John. Wow, that's mega expensive for some shaving soap. Kevy 👍

Thanks Kevy,
Cheers Bill. LTV to me, has a very captivating scent. I can't get enough of that smell. Cheers. Kevy :)

Kevy I am proud to say I have a old spice shave soap and mug there is not much smell left but it still works great. I had to try it once

Good stuff Steve. I have tried the vintage Old Spice but I'd like to get a puck of my own in the mug and also some vintage splash. Cheers. Kevy 😀

I think you're right! Lol! Kevy 👍
Very enjoyable video Kevy.
Thanks Tim. Good fun and really had to think what to choose for this one. Kevy 👍

That’s awesome!!! 🇺🇸 🗽
Thanks for the nomination, Kevy. I shall get it done this weekend. Thanks also for your comments re Imperial Rum and Oberon. Cheers, Kerry.
No problem Kerry. Looking forward to hearing what you have to say. Good fun these types of videos. Kevy 👍

It's called Amazon Prime, on your doorstep in 2 days. That's where I get my blades & shave cream.
US average walk in stores only sell what is in total popularity which is disposable razors and cheap can creams but they have got Cremo now at least
Great video Kevy, I'd be proud of those 2 soaps and the reason you have them too 😌👏
We shall have to do something about the sloth 🙄
Kevy, I live in Manhattan. I go to Pasteur's every Saturday. I always manage to buy something.
ENVY!! Lol!
Was looking at vintage old spice soap and mug on eBay too, one went yesterday for 35 quid. Too steep for me. Would have went to 20. Will keep looking 👍
Yes, I seen that one. They go for silly money just now. Cheers. Kevy :)

Auction Sniper is your friend to win those auctions in the last 3 seconds
WunDerBar mate! Thanks for sharing.
Cheers mate! 👍
The King of Shave. Point.
Thank you 😀
Your begging for the brush ..hopping to have one sent to you...Lol
Something might have happened on that score....watch this space! 🤔😜
Kevy Shaves I figured...begging works...ask Riley...lol
I don't think it's sloth that prevents you from using your shavette or straight razor. I think it's the 73 other razors in your den. 😎
Err....you may have a point there! Lol1 Kevy :)
I thought your "wrath" would be that you keep missing my live shaves,l.o.l.
Ha ha! 😂
just to upset you even more I picked up a old spice soap in a mug unused at a auction with other bits for only £1!!! sorry
Ha ha! Well done you..ya jammy so & so! Lol! I'll take it off your hands for a fiver?! Seriously, well done, enjoy it. Kevy :)
